Fun is wherever you find it...
its such a beautiful set - with 100 movies and those storybooks (that hold themselves up) - but the one time fee is just way over my budget. AND - I've heard that none of the films are offered in 4K. Kind of lame for the more modern titles. Sure the price per movie is $!5 (actually less due to the books, the lithograph, and the crystal mouse ears) but its a lot up front.
Maybe a second release wont include the lithograph or the crystal ears..... nah!

The probability of that happening is probably only slightly higher than them adding the missing "movie that shall not be named" from 1946.

If that was included - I might be tempted to pay the $1,500!

i was fortunate to obtain a copy many years ago of the film not to be named. We dont talk about it much

I was also fortunate to find one (DVD) only about 3 years ago. I have no idea how the seller manages(ed) to do it, but I found a reference either here or on some other site and called to inquire and that was that. $20 plus shipping later I now can evaluate it through the eyes of an adult instead of my foggy recollection from seeing it in the late 70's or early 80's as a pre-teen.
In fairness to the intent of the Collection, this movie may not have been a candidate for inclusion, even if not for it's status. I saw a comment on the list I was reviewing to see what was included and saw reference to there not being many (maybe any?) that were hybrid cartoon and live action. I noticed Roger Rabbit didn't make the collection either, I don't think.

I agree - even though im harping on the fact that no 4K are in the release either. My copy of SOTS looks like it was videotaped off of a television -or digitally copied from a VHS. I read the list - and if Home on the Range, Chicken Little, and BOTH Planes movies made the list - and not Roger Rabbit? - thats a shame. The list can be found in lots of places on the internet.
