Knott's Scary Farm tickets on sale now

"Knotts Scary Farm will celebrate its 50th anniversary this Halloween season with new mazes and the return of fan-favorite scary experiences. Tickets for the event went on sale on Monday.

The famous Halloween event will run on select nights in September and October, with its final night being Halloween.

This year, theme park officials announced that it would sell season passes for its famous event. Current season pass holders can purchase the Scary Farm Season Pass Add-on starting at $149, not including taxes and fees."

    Thanks, Karin!
I wonder if Carl's Jr. will promote discounted tickets again this year.
Also (tomorrow), Aug. 24, 2023, Knott's will have a Scary Farm PR event. Will The Hanging return? Stay tuned.

Did Knott's lower the chaperone required age from 17 to 15 this year, and -- if so --- will that invite some of the truly horrible 2021 & early 2022 behavior?

Knotts has tinkered with its chaperone policy a number of times since it was first introduced. If you remember, initially it was someone 21+ for every 2(?) or maybe 3 humans under 18 - and the adults were supposed to stay with the kids at all times. It was a really low number to the point that someone with kids would possibly need a second adult just to bring in their own family - even if their family was still in the diaper stage and not in the teenagers causing drama stage. They also applied the policy to field trips, which caused a bit of chaos I'm sure as it was a last minute change. The 10-1 may be more than a typical family needs, but makes sense for field trips. I'm not sure when they lowered the age criteria to 15 and younger. It looks like they now also just need to stay in the park, rather than specifically with the kids.

I expect that if there is a hint of trouble, Knotts will make additional adjustments or create a scary farm only policy that makes it harder for troublemakers to enter/stay in the parks.
