Universal Hollywood Horror meet up!
JOIN US at Universal Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights
on Thursday, September 14, 2023,
(This is subject to change) at 5:30pm ish or soon thereafter
inside The Three Broomsticks!
Get yourself a LIMITED express pass that just lets you get in each house & on some attractions in the Express line ONCE.
And get the early entry pass which will get you into Universal Hollywood at 5:30 & instead of 7pm.
The early entry pass this evening is only $10, and this might be the least crowded night of the event.
Feel free to show up alone. This will be a friendly, welcoming crowd.
We will hit one or two of the houses/mazes that open early, then do all of the mazes with our front of the line Limited Express passes.
There will be one stop for food & a beverage maybe after hitting all the mazes or at 9pm or so, which ever comes earlier.
We're all going "Dutch" (Google that, young people), and will not wait for late people. There is no signing up, just showing up.
Hit the show(s? ha) & scary tram tour if there is one after the mazes
It will be fun! I'm a former Disneyland Jungle Cruise Guide.

Sigh, no responses yet, but it's still 49 days away (from July 28.)

THIS HAS BEEN SLIGHTLY UPDATED SINCE THE FIRST POST ABOVE:
(Check back again on or before Sept. 14 for more updates/changes.)
For they first time (on a non-MiceChat outing), we're splurging on "Express Passes" -- NOT the "UNLIMITED passes. (Our pass permits just one fastpass per house per evening & while still splurgy, is less $$$ than the unltd. one.)
So of you're ready to commit your soul to terror for a night, get yourself a LIMITED express pass that just lets you get in each house & on some attractions in the Express line ONCE.
AND
get the EARLY ENTRY pass which will get you into Universal Hollywood at 5:30 & instead of 7pm. The early entry pass this evening from Universal is only $10, because this might be the least crowded night of the event.
Official name of the get in 90-mnutes early pass: "Halloween Horror Nights Early Access Ticket."
Get your wrist bands right after you enter the park! (Ask Universal's crew -- they don't necessarily look for the people they should be giving wristbands to.)
Feel free to show up alone. This will be a friendly, welcoming crowd. But if you're late we won't wait -- you'll have to text us down.
We will hit one or two of the houses/mazes that open early without using the express passes,
then do all of the mazes (including the ones we'd done if they're good) with our front of the line Limited Express passes.
There will be one stop for food & a beverage maybe after hitting all the mazes or at 9pm or so, which ever comes earlier.
We're all going "Dutch" (Google that, Gen Xers), and will not wait for late people. Get your own tickets. There is no signing up, just showing up on time --5:30ish inside the 3 Broomsticks inside the park.
We'll hit the show(s? Ha!) & scary tram tour if there is one after the mazes...

I'll probably be in a Spongebob T-shirt. If you message me I'll know to look for you. But I'll line up for a house that opens early & not wait around too long.
(A group of friends once met us at the Knott's Scary Farm Boo-fet & was very late & so we missed the early entry to Scary Farm,
which is why I paid for and arrived early for the Boo-fet.)
-
No Mouseplaneteers (or Micechatters) have gotten back to me saying they'll join us,
so the new plan might be for us to just get in line for early opening houses
(especially of the Classic Monsters, Exorcist & Holidays in Hell open early--I've read they're above average)
ASAP after entering at 5:30,
then after that to back & do all the mazes with the one-time front-of-the-line passes, and the tram, & two shows.
