At home in the hills
Those 3 together suggest it is something to do with the show building itself.

Yeah that is how it sounds. It would be something that affects all 3 in some manner. Hopefully it won't be for to long considering the time of year this is starting.

some speculation across distwitter was that it was related to the stoppage of the fire effects on shows. maybe there is something thats at risk on the roof - though I dont have enough info to verify it. The attractions are already closed (well is Alice closed?) during fireworks. so the public was not at as much risk. Hmmm.

All those rides are closed during fireworks and so is that whole are on that side with Fantasyland that is close to the castle. So no risk to public in that manner. Yet I don't know if there is anything on top of those buildings for fire effects...never noticed and its been a long time since we have watched any fireworks shows. We have always watched back that way. If that was an issue then they would close it now to deal with not over a month from now. Maybe something electrical or to do with anything on the roof? I guess depending on what it is though will obviously be what determines how long the closure of those rides will be for.

As wet as this winter has been , the roof may need some repairs, or even replacement.

So many children's attractions at the same time will be hard on those with little ones in their parties.

good call. There could be a lot of weakness in the buildings.

It definitely does seem like they are going to do something to the building structure (probably the roof) or they wouldn't close them all at the same time. I have no inside knowledge what they might be doing, but I would expect that if they are putting on a new roof, they would update whatever fire system they currently have to the newest standards.
Based on where the pyrotechnics are set off, they can't re-open those rides until the area is cleared for potential fire hazards. If they can use technology to make that process easier/faster/cheaper, I assume that they will.

makes me think there was more damage from the rains inside Pan than others. OR - they dont have enough staff to fix it all at once. OR BOTH!
