Congrats! Have a great (and safe) trip!

Depending how things evolve in the next few months, I'm considering trying for spring sometime. Nothing firm though.

Looks like since we canceled our September trip this year that was for my daughter's 21st birthday, we are now going to do it end of September 2021. Starting to plan it and book our reservations. So about 10.5 months away from the second trip!!

Congrats on having a new countdown. I always enjoy the planning stage.

We went back and forth and decided 10 days in May it is. Trying Universal for the first time and Volcano Bay. Getting excited now that I just booked our room. I picked a suite at Embassy for the space and to be in between Disney and Universal. i just had first time clients stay over 5 days during Thanksgiving. Everything went sweet. They ended up with 1 Epcot day, 2 days at MK, and 1 AK day.

17 days i think... Thanks a LOT dvcrentalstore.com and cheap Southworst flights...

7 days at BLT with decent weather, hopefully low crowds, and the glorious return of PARK HOPPING!

Even with reduced hours I imagine well have a great birthday trip for Nick... Can't wait to be HOME!

Everyone have great trips! (and also, Happy New Year!)

I'm looking forward to hearing how well the park hopping attempts go for you. Bringing that back (even with the limitations as described in the announcement) is a major step in the right direction, IMO.

Depending on how PA evolves with out of state rules over the next few months, I may try for something in the time frame between mikala's and jrsharp21's trips. Or ideally, at least a trip for the 50th MK birthday on 10/1, assuming availability. (hope you all have good trips too, only quoted the closer ones )

We leave in 46 days! We start with a couple of days at Universal, plus 1 day at Sea World, 1 day at Aquatica, and 8 days at WDW (no park-hopping though), plus adding in a non-theme park day every couple of days makes for a very long trip but is extremely necessary! It's been 8 years since our last visit (we've just been going exclusively to Disneyland in the meantime) so we definitely want to make the most of our time we have there!

DL trips: too many to remember actual dates, but they began in the 60s!

Nice! KSC is awesome, need to go back there too. It's worth it just to see the Saturn V rocket restored and indoors in a new hangar. Well, new 20 years ago... But the stages are all pulled apart so you can see all the detail and the glorious F-1 engines. And if there's any chance of a launch, you gotta go. I still remember the Challenger launch we watched in 83.

We went to KSC on our first trip to FL in December 1986 (we were stationed at Robins AFB in Warner Robins GA at the time); it was the same year as the first shuttle tragedy, so we didn't get to see any shuttles at the time. However, we were in FL and saw 2 different launches on 2 different trips, both from Universal Studios! The first time we were exiting the Earthquake attraction and everyone was stopping in front of us at the exit, as you could see the shuttle had just launched! The second time we were prepared...I had my camcorder ready to videotape it (again at USF)! We didn't make the drive over to Canaveral just in case the launches got scrubbed, plus it was so crowded!

New/reimagined attractions in the past 8 years: Pandora, 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Star Wars Galaxy Edge (WDW-style; we've seen the DL version), Toy Story Land, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Frozen Ever After, Harry Potter Diagon Alley, the Bourne Stuntacular, and a few other things at Universal that we probably may not be able to experience due to motion sickness! We'll be sad to miss the live entertainment, parades, & nighttime shows, but most especially the Festival of the Lion King & the PeopleMover!

PeopleMover is rumored to be opening around January 10th, so you may not miss it.😀

We saw the last nighttime shuttle launch from our lake view balcony at the Contemporary. I was amazed at how much you could see from that far away. It was awesome to see that happen live and I got some decent still photos of the event.

I hope the WEDway Peoplemover, aka Moonshine Express, is open for our trip. Been missing it. It's ridiculous the train isn't back up and running. I know they are still blaming the TRON project, but that's absurd and incredibly poor planning. I've worked in construction and engineering for over 20 years, and this is horrible. And now I am hearing that RRC is down indefinitely due to some performance issues...

Haven't been to a Universal park in a long, long time. Guess I need to watch the rest of the HP movies so we can go check it out.

The launch we saw was from right across the river, very close. You felt the rumbling and raw power. About the only thing I can imagine to rival it would've been a Saturn V launch... I saw a few launches also from the docks at 20K when I worked there and that was still pretty cool. I was in Seattle for a conference in 2019 and went to Museum of Flight where they have some of the F-1 engines Bezos recovered form the seabed, along with an unused one. That was very cool to see. Amazing workmanship...
