What happened to the hotel room prices during the last year? Many of the room prices are now well out of our price range. Is WDW now only for the very, very rich?
Supply and demand. With not all the resort hotels open, there is limited supply of rooms. So of course Disney is going to mark those up. Mark up what is open to make up for what they are missing out on the closed resorts. That is why for our September trip we decided to go with a non Disney resort, Wyndham Bonnet Creek. While not a Disney resort, it is technically still in the bubble. I got a two room suite/condo that sleeps 8 for less than the price of a room at All Star Movies.
