I understand the no costume policy - but what happens when you go purchase outfits at one of the locations inside Batuu and go to the restroom and change? And then walk around with a name badge you built in Tomorrowland? I'm interested to see the policy on that one.

Curious about this as well. How will they deal with it? They need to get this clear to the all media as well because they have been misreporting things as has their own official blog. Yet sadly I have seen many adults still at this point allowed in the parks with a costumes that shouldn't have been. I think Disney setting up after hours events that it can be done is the best option in the future...or just keeping it at Halloween events only.
Also I saw some place else someone trying to tell people that the no standby line is just lies and that there will be one.I really wish that people would stop trying to spread their own rumors on things but since some are we all know there will be those that believe rumors and will show up hoping they can get in a standby line for SWGE. I am sure even without those spreading this that some on their would will think they will have one. Which I do hope Disney will stick to the no standby for this. I can imagine they are doing it so the walkways in the areas don't get clogged with long lines and make it impossible for others to get around certain areas.
Still sounds like they are trying to figure a lot of things out though that hopefully they can before opening.....I can imagine that either way there is still going to be a nightmare of crowds that weekend wanting in and confusing on how to deal with certain things that pop up. I feel for all the CMs that will be working and trying to handle it all in the parks.
A crowded day at Disneyland beats a busy day of housework!!
According to my princess, its not Star Wars land its "You stole my goats away from me!!......in progress land"
other sites noted that the parks won't allow you to wear your recently purchased costume merch. I guess we will have to wait and see what the official word is. I need to remind myself you cant expect Disney to capture every scenario in writing - nor would they want to because then the policy is not flexible. Then again maybe thats been one of the issues (as CMs allow some things other don't)? I dont have personal experience in that but I have read a lot of experiences from others.

I guess I could have made that more pointed in my article, but as I said, "The Black Spire Outfitters store inside Galaxy’s Edge will sell costumes and accessories, but older fans should note that these may not be worn inside the theme parks."
If you buy one of these costumes, you'll need to carry it out with you, and may not wear it inside the parks. That policy is already in place for the Jedi robes sold in Tomorrowland, and for kids costumes that include face-covering masks. The Star-Lord costume I bought for one of my boys even had a hang tag attached that said it could not be worn inside the parks.
