D23 Expo Info?
Does anyone remember how far in advance D23 releases ticket prices and info? The tickets go on sale next week, and a few friends are toying with the idea of going for Sorcerer tickets. Wondering exactly what time tickets go on sale, what the prices are, and whether a Gold member can buy a Sorcerer ticket for a non-Gold member friend or whether all who hold Sorcerer tickets must be Gold members...

Tickets prices should be announced any day now, probably Tomorrow, Thursday. They went on sale at 10 AM PST on the first day of sale. Last Expo Sorcerer tickets were $2250. Gold members can get one for themselves and one for another person who does not need to be a gold member.

Interesting that this year Gold Members can't purchase tickets for friends at the Gold Member prices. I bet a lot of people will get Gold memberships to get the discount. I wonder what that'll do to the Gold Member lines at the big halls (nothing good, blah).

It looks like they are staggering ticket sales this year, Sorcerer tickets go on sale at 10:00 and all others at 11:00

I have to renew my membership this month and noticed the auto-renewal feature. Hmmm... never noticed that before. (Warning: someone on another board said to check carefully if you use this feature -- the default option checks the free General Membership box -- make sure the membership you want is checked before submitting!) And, Shortpix, I was wondering about what D23 would do regarding Gold Members purchasing more than one ticket. Hedged my bets and renewed Mr. Tea earlier this year as a Gold Member. Glad that hunch paid off. Hoping these changes make the Expo experience better, not "worse and more expensive to boot."

Where did you see that?

Fun is wherever you find it...
as I was reading the various blogs and the big push to show what time regular tickets are on sale makes me think for some reason they are limited. They don't limit gold ticket sales, do they? I know the event itself sells out but never until we get a little closer to the dates. Just odd and I was wondering if something was different.
