    New food at Pixar Pier

    Hi all,

Has anyone tried any of the new foods at Pixar Pier?

I am particularly interested in the lemon soft-serve dipped in white chocolate and the cookies at Jack-Jack's.

Lemon and white chocolate doesn't sound like a combo I would normally put together but I do like trying new things.

I had the lemon soft-serve and really enjoyed it. Very tart. I didn't have the version you mention cause I'm not a fan of white chocolate in general. Be prepared that the line for that and for Jack Jack's treats has been pretty long since they've opened.

Please don't ask me how I feel, I feel fine

The Jack Jack Cookie Num Num (ie Chocolate Chip Cookie) is very good! The gluten free cookie is also very good. The shortbread cookie is very bad. (As in, I warned you...)

Is it not actual shortbread? Cause seriously, how can shortbread not be good?

Darn. That shortbread cookie looked so good in pictures. I'll stick to the chocolate chip with a big glass of milk.

My problem at Disney is we are never there enough days for me to eat everything I want to. One day I'm going to go on a food only trip.

On some of the more portable stuff, I've bought them and taken them home to eat later, especially if it's something I know I like. I loved the new gingerbread cookies last year during the holidays because they had molasses in them. I ended up buying 3 of them and put them in the refrigerator to enjoy later. If they have them again this year, I may need to stock up more.

I know, right???? I don't know WHAT it is, but it is not good shortbread. MDM, Escape Artist, and I shared it, and if I remember right MDM spit it out. Half the cookie went in the trash. Disney Food Blog's report agreed with me.

This is the shortbread from Disney Food Blog's site

This is the gluten free option

Properly wrapped, cookies freeze quite well.
