Thread: What if it's cold for the Spirit of Aloha Luau?

What if it's cold for the Spirit of Aloha Luau?

DH will be 50 next week and we would like to celebrate by going to the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. I have never been and he went once back in the 70's so this should be alot of fun. I do have a question about heating though. It looks like Jan. 20th is a good time to go. I realize that it might be into the 60's for the 5:15pm show. Do they use those big stand up propane heaters? And does the "roof" extend over section 1? I'm sure we would be okay if close to a heater and a roof overheard even if it was a little chilly.

Anyone have any tips for me?
    Thanks in advance!

I know the roof extends over the seating area. Dont know if they use portable heaters. I do know the luau is sometimes canceled due to inclement weather.

Thank you so much for the reply. I sure appreciate it!
And I have an update. DH wants to go to Busch Gardens instead. So I'm turning my planning skills toward that.
Hopefully, I'll get in my solo trip early February.

This has made me chuckle. We would be cracking out our shorts for mid 60’s

Florida has been having a cold snap the past couple of weeks. This week is getting back to the normal January temps but it is quite amusing to people watch. Today started coolish, about 62* got up to the mid 70* and very sunny but some people still had on puffy winter coats and scarfs.
