After all my trips to WDW, this is the one restaurant I always wanted to visit but never did. It really did sound fun and yummy, but my wife read that the waitresses would "force" you to eat your greens and whatever's left on the plate. She didn't want that pressure and so never let me book there. I know I missed out on a gem!

Working for Disney. No, no. Working (in a Modesto office) for (the money to take a trip to) Disney (World/Land)

Ive ate here twice over my visits, both with kinda differing opinions. First time was there with my brother, dad, and a cousin, and they brought out all the stops (our server delightfully creeped out my younger brother, he being of the wannabe tough guy teenager at the time) and had a fun experience.

Second time though I had just went with my dad and we didnt get any interaction from our server, just kinda treated like youd expect from a restaurant (Id even say in a rare lapse ours that day was more inattentive than that to be honest). So after that experience, havent really bothered since. At least in my head now, they probably make the extra effort if you appear with more family and you get that level of interaction, or just normal indifference otherwise.

As for the food itself, I mean its not bad, but I didnt find anything particularly noteworthy.

Great article and photos. The 50's Prime Time Cafe is one of our "must eat at" restaurants. We have had two great experiences there.

After a 25-minute wait, even with a reservation, I was a seething cauldron of rage fire when we took our seats.
I would have killed for that. On our last visit I was looking forward to sitting at the bar enjoying the ambience and decor while also sipping on an adult beverage or two during our wait for our table. I had barely gotten the seat warm when the Hostess called our names. Oh well, I'll take my drink with me, if I have to...

And remember, keep your elbows off the table and don't stack your dirty dishes.

I have a strange hankering for meatloaf after reading that!

Is that the place where you sit in cars like a drive in, or am I thinking of somewhere else? It's been years since I've been to East Coast Dis
