Best Western hotels is having a sale - ends Jan. 31, 2017

Here is some news I learned about in December, and I am sharing it now for those seeking HOTELS near Disneyland.
    ***
The hotel chain, BEST WESTERN, is having a sale for its affinity credit card holders.
If you have accrued enough points on your credit card, you can stay for one free night.

    The "sale" is namely this:

    * (nearly) all BW properties are available for only 10,00 POINTS.
    (Subject to availability, of course.)

    * The BEST WESTERN sale ends January 31, 2017.
    ***
Indeed, I see that the 7 closest BW properties nearest to Disneyland (Anaheim) vary in POINT value (per their normal February rates) from 20,000 to 24,000 to 28,000 points.
So, the current sale price of 10,000 points is like a "half-off sale" or "65% off sale", correspondingly.
    ***
I took advantage of this sale in December 2017.
I stayed at "Raffles Inn & Suites" (on Harbor Bl., south of Katella Ave.).
I spent 10,000 points, from my BW Visa card.
Normally, (see their FEBRUARY rates), this hotel is to be redeemed at 24,000 points.

    Reminder:
The other chains, HILTON (e.g., Doubletree, Embassy Suites), and MARRIOTT (e.g., Courtyard, Springhill Suites), and SHERATON (e.g., Westin, Four Points), have credit card affinity programs, too.
    ***
I don't accrue "mileage" points on my credit cards, as I don't fly much anymore.
    But a mini-vacation is a deal I can swing.

    Typo!
    Yes, "... 2018 ..." of course.
    30 days away.

    Sorry!
