The new fall season - what are you watching?

I know there are threads out there for The Orville and STiscovery - and they can continue in their own threads so they dont get jumbled in a thread merge.

But what is everyone watching now that the new season is here? Any new hopefuls or old fave's that are catching your eye?

Watched Me, Myself and I as well as The Good Doctor. Oh - and The Good Place as well.

MM&I was good, but the bouncing back and forth between timelines was a bit too much. I mean, I understood the story just fine, and it was good, but thats my only real beef. Ill continue to watch it to see what happens.

    The Good Doctor.
Take this however you want... but this is Doogie Howser meets a mellow Sheldon Cooper in a way. Im not sure where they are going to go with this show, but I will continue to watch to see what happens. I would be shocked if it lasted a full season.

    The Good Place
Watching the last episode of the first season then watching the double episode premier made for a good watch. I liked the first season, but its going to be interesting to see how everything pans out now that the first big mystery is already out in the open. The viewer already knows a lot more, which I think has the potential of taking a bit away from the storyline.

This is fun. We have a LONG list. We are a huge TV family. Husband, BIL1, BIL2 and SIL1 all work in tv. Makes it more fun.

Monday: Big Bang & Supergirl are staples here. Watched Young Sheldon - will continue with that. I like MM&I. That's a keeper for me too.

Tuesday: Black-ish, Lethal Weapon, This is Us. Watched and LOVED The Mayor.

Wednesday: Speechless, Modern Family, American Housewife, Survivor, Riverdale.

Thursday: Arrow, Superstore, The Good Place, Life in Pieces

    Friday: MacGyver & Hawaii 50.

Literally my favorite time of year!!!

I don't really watch network shows anymore, at least not in the traditional sense. I caught up with The Good Place and enjoyed it, so I will watch S2. I'll probably watch This Is Us, although I really only am interested in the performance of Sterling K Brown.

New shows I'm trying out this year:

    The Orville
    Star Trek Discovery (first episode)
    Young Sheldon
The Gifted (saw the first episode at a preview and liked it)
    The Inhumans

Please don't ask me how I feel, I feel fine.
Oh I cry a bit, I don't sleep too good, but I'm fine

We just got pay TV a month ago, so everything is kind of new. And there are some new things from 2015 when we cut the cord. I'm binging everything!

The Inhumans - If it wasn't a Marvel project, I'd have given up already after the 2-hour premiere. I'm giving it another episode, maybe two. But I don't have much confidence it will get better. The premise itself is poorly thought out and seems entirely derivative of a very popular franchise. I really like one of the lead actors but he's not enough to keep my interest.

I feel the same way. I was surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did.

The Good Doctor just got picked up for a full seasons with 22 episodes ordered. It is the highest rated new drama so far. As someone who has worked with numerous autistics, Freddy Highmore's performance is beyond amazing. Plus I've been a fan of his since he was 8. Highly highly recommend it.

That's a Prime Time show, correct? I think I'll make a point of watching it.

Watched Ep 2 of The Good Doctor last night. Very good! Then realized ep 1 is on demand. So now I plan to watch both episodes one more time.

The Orville is definitely holding its own, if you ask me. Im liking it a lot.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Wisdom of the Crowd... I was looking forward to it but its loosing me... quickly, I might add.

Still have to see E2 of The Good Doctor.

    I've watched the following:
Star Trek Discovery (1st episode). Loved it, but I don't have CBS all access
Inhumans - I want to love this, but so far it is just OK. I have about as much empathy for the heroes as I do for the main villain, which doesn't bode well.
The Gifted - I really like this one.
Kevin (probably) Saves the World - I really liked this one.
Ghosted - thought this was fairly entertaining, but I don't always have time for TV on Sundays.
I would like to check out The Good Doctor at some point.
Looking forward to returning favorites: Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Agents of Shield.

I've given up on The Inhumans after two episodes.

Finally saw the second episode of The Gifted, and I like the show a lot.

I liked Young Sheldon ok but I'm still iffy on it. (I know Sheldon has a sister but I don't remember him ever saying he had a brother as well.)

The Orville is knocking it out of the park.

New fan of The Orville. Good Star Trek like vibes and funny. And, of course, way better production values. Very entertaining.

Looks like the first casualty of the new season has dropped. "Me, Myself, and I" has been removed from its time slot. The premise sounded interesting to me and might have been something I would have tried if I didn't already have too many shows to watch.

Sad to see Me, Myself and I go down. I think DD and I were the only 2 people watching it. DD and I just finished Season 2 of Stranger Things. I'm in the minority in my house, but I LOVED season 2! DD and DH really liked it, but found it too similar to season 1. I loved the tone of Season 2!

We were watching MM&I as well.... sorry to hear that it might meet an early demise.
But overall, this season of new programming is really not impressing me.
