Not horrible, but it would take some focus on my part to make sure I bought anything I wanted over at Disney Springs instead of at the parks.

I may not be enough of a shopping at DS fan to make it worth it for me if I was going to be down there during the promotion.

It does seem odd that it can be used in the Shop Disney Parks app. Broadening to that realm, I guess I could probably shop $125 worth.

I didn't see anything saying you have to spend it there, just buy it there. Is it not usable at all WDW properties like the others? And yeah, $125 doesn't go that far, especially when eating.

Unless I misread it (upon further review, I'm pretty sure I am not), it was only good at the establishments listed at the end of the link you posted.

That link didn't include restaurants either, not even DS restaurants.

If you look closely and magnify the images of the gift cards, they list the same DS locations. Even the $100 card you buy is restricted, not just the free $25 card. It is truly a Disney Springs location specific gift card.

It's still a good deal for people who shop a lot at DS or the Shop Disney Parks app, just not good for many of the regular things we would all apply a regular gift card to while there (food, beer, souvenirs that they might have at some specific location but not at DS, etc).

You're right! I looked on the computer and not on the phone and see the listing at the bottom which I missed earlier today. Bummer about restaurants (although spending money at the Ganachery sounds easy!) but if you use the Shop Disney Parks app on phone you could easily rack it up by just going around shops in the parks. I've spent that much on the little Collector Packs with Star Wars figures on one trip, so...
