Other highlights:
We dressed up on Sunday the 23rd and attended the Dapper Day Expo at the Disneyland Hotel. It was so much fun just being there watching the people, exploring the booths, and seeing all of the different Dapper outfits people had on. So much fun! And it was great seeing all the Dapper people throughout the park in general. We went to the Coffee Bar and bought a Dole Whip (same as the Tiki Room)all good.

Our stay at the Grand Californian was top-notch as usual. We stayed on the 5th floor overlooking the other Disney hotels (PP and DH).....the sunsets were amazing! The service and staff were friendly and went above and beyond. We did stay in an "old" room because the newly remodeled ones were too far away.

My wife also ran into the Fresh Baked Disney peeps, who have a channel on YouTube on all things Disneyland and Stuff. David, Liz, and Ian.

We did not attend any of the parades over fireworks for some reason.....although we did briefly watch the Main Street Electrical Parade from our outdoor table at the Plaza Inn. We kinda had a "been there, done that" attitude about them.....but we know it's all good. We also missed a couple of our favorite snacks.....a Matterhorn Macaroon and a Cream cheese Filled Pretzel...we just didn't make the time for them.

On Monday the 24th we concluded our trip with a stop in Newport Beach and had lunch at the Crab Cooker, a family favorite. Excellent as always.
All in all it was another great trip for us, and yet were all disappointed that the time came and went so fast. We realized that there many things that we meant to do but just didn't get around to it. We really need to make a list and follow it to a Tee, which we did, but as usual we got sidetracked. But it's all good.

Put us down for yet another trip in a year or two.maybe when Star Wars Land finally opens. Until then, well be storing our lanyards and pins on the hooks on the back of the bedroom door, and with each look it will remind us of the Happiest Place on Earth!
