Good luck with the new job, and better luck in your search!

Taking a leisurely drive on the Tomorrowland Speedway before it closes to make way for the Tron-o-rail (see what I did there?).

It's all those little things that separate the Disney experience from all others. This was painfully obvious to me at Six Flags last week!

Eating dinner at Casey's Corner. The ginormous chili cheese dog sounds pretty good right now.

I haven't eaten at Casey's in a very long time. This sounds good right about now!

Seeing all these amazing enormous old oak trees around here makes me want to visit a really cool treehouse.

It's where I'll be in about 9 days. I'm arriving Thursday, and Thursday is my F&WF night!

Good for you, Dan. We missed the F&WF by a few days last year - we went right after it ended. We won't make it this year, either. No plans to go back until February. We will have to plan a Fall visit for next year, although we may do a Disneyland trip instead next year.

I'll be in Epcot Sunday night as well, but I'm guessing there'll be a pretty sizable weekend crowd. So Sunday night it's the Coral Reef for me (of course followed closely by the Rose & Crown!).

But of course! That pretty much goes without saying around here...

Lines crowd calendar shows Epcot as a 4 on the first, but might be a surge of locals for the festival.

Hmm, I'm beginning to sense a common theme here...

Wish I was in any of the parks. I got teased this past Sunday. I had to go to Jacksonville for a work event. The whole family came with. For my daughter's birthday we decided to drive to Orlando when the meetings were over. She decided she want to go to Universal for Harry Potter. On Sunday, we had an early evening flight. So we didn't have a park ticket. So we went over to Disney Springs for a few hours. It was so hard not jumping on a bus and heading over to a park. My son kept saying how many rides he could have gone on through out the day. Now I am trying to find a way to get back before my work conference next May.

Disneyland will always be home, but WDW is starting to win me over.

I need to find one of these mythical conferences that are in Orlando, then get my boss to spring for me to go...

I wish I was in one of the parks with a light crowd level, harassing friends about how awesome it is to be there and not at work...

I used to work for a company that provided technical setups at a variety of events, including trade shows. We worked in Anaheim quite a bit, and would usually stay in a hotel near the convention center (and Disneyland). I would take an evening to walk over to Disney property, and it was really tough to stand outside the gates, knowing that there were all those people having fun just on the other side, and I couldn't join them!
