Thank you for your always kind words and support. It is always noticed and much appreciated. As a writer, sometimes you toil by yourself, frustrated that you can find quite the right word or that you can't locate that one piece of information and you never know whether anyone else actually cares. I am grateful that Mouse Planet gives me a forum where I can write about a variety of Disney topics and some good ones are coming up. I am also grateful that apparently there are some folks who enjoy what I produce.
Oh my yes...totally enjoy your writing. This was the first article I read from first word to last and bookmarked it so I can read it again when a toddler is not interrupting me. Thanks for uour continued Disney articles. Looking forward to the next one.
Jim, I love reading your articles on Disney Parks history. I first visited WDW in 1972. So much more magical than today. But then, I was 44 years younger and not paying the bills! Folks should watch the 1972 theatrical featurette The Magic of Walt Disney World (it's on youtube) to get a fascinating taste of what the place was like back in the stone age!
