"Terminator: Dark Fate" - I enjoyed this film a lot, though I know it's going to upset a certain segment of the population. That's ok - they get upset all the time. It was great seeing Linda Hamilton again. And I really liked the actress who plays the other protector. She looked familiar but I couldn't place her. A quick search of IMDB says I've seen her in two previous films - "Tully" and "Blade Runner 2049", and I liked her in both. The action and stunts are super-hyped, and there are a lot of funny moments as well. There's a LOT more swearing in this film than in all of the prior films combined.
Please don't ask me how I feel, I feel fine.

"Harriet" - After seeing the trailer for the first time, I was already hooked. The film does not disappoint at all. Great job by literally everyone. And Cynthia Erivo is amazing. I've seen her in 3 films now and loved her in all of them. I'm really hoping the song from the film is nominated for Best Original Song. I would love to see them sing that on stage.
And no matter how many stories or movies I see about slavery, I will never understand how anyone could possibly feel, think or act that way to fellow human beings.
Please don't ask me how I feel, I feel fine.

"Last Christmas" - I like Emilia Clarke and I like Henry Golding, but I really wasn't in the mood for a rom-com. But I went anyway. And I'm really glad I did. This is not your traditional rom-com, and I really enjoyed it. I also didn't know who else was in the film, and I didn't know who one of the co-writers was, or I would have been more excited to see the film beforehand. Definitely a recommend.
Who else is in the film:
Who one of the co-writers is:

I just realized I made a mistake in my second spoiler comment.

I'm glad you liked it because I was really on the fence on this one. Now I think we're going to add it to the list.

"The Good Liar" - I've been interested since I saw the first trailer and hello, Helen Mirren and Ian McKellan together! I really enjoyed the film, and it was like watching a master class in acting with the two of them. In an unusual occurrence, I actually figured out one of the plot points quite a bit ahead of time, which I normally don't, so one bit wasn't as much of a surprise as it might have been, but I still enjoyed the film.

"Frozen 2" - I really enjoyed the film. I thought they did a good job of coming up with an interesting story, and I liked the music too. There is one particular character that I loved, for multiple reasons, even though I *know* it's designed to reel you in. It worked.

"Knives Out" - Been looking forward to this for a while, and it did not disappoint. So many fun people to watch, but the standout for me was Daniel Craig. I think I saw him in a Bond movie and wasn't impressed. He was very wooden. He was fantastic in this.

"21 Bridges" - I enjoyed this film a lot, even with the sometimes graphic violence. But I get to watch Chadwick Boseman and Stephan James in the same film. Can't go wrong with that.
And, someone who looked very familiar and it wasn't until I saw the credits that I confirmed.

"Queen & Slim" - I enjoyed the film, though it took a bit to get used to the slower pace. Some of the stuff in this film, as in some other films I've seen, are maddening to watch, not because it's in the film but because it happens in real life. It's starting to change my perspective on things, realizing that the assumption I'm starting from is wrong.
