Excellent story as I am a Tony Curtis fan. Disneyland is often the subject of many media events and it seems like the opportunity to film there doesn't wane even though it isn't featured in films much today.
Speaking of That Thing You Do!, the Disneyland scenes were extremely brief -- and stills, to boot, not film -- but I daresay they're most notable for using modern character costumes instead of ones from 1964.
