Halloween is on a Tuesday this year, and the Sunday and Monday before have no Halloween parties. Touring Plans are rating those days a 6 for Sunday and a 3 for Monday. Anyone have feelings on that accuracy?

Monday should be light, last week Saturday was a zoo. Going tomorrow, I can let you know how it goes.
I didn't make it last weekend, planing on Sunday again coming up.
I was there Sunday, 10/8 and it was crowded by 1030am. Anything with a halloween theme was packed. That is twice on a weekend where since the decorations went up that it was packed. It has been pretty good since the 3 day So Cal passes ended but the last few weeks have been insane.
Early Sunday was a little slower in DCA but Disney was busy enough. Crowds started picking up around 1030. Of course the Haunted Mansion had long lines later in the day, about 3 hours at time, just like the old days before fastpass.
Yes, That is what did Sunday, We entered at DCA because the line was shorter, got a FP for Guardians and was able to use it right away, and then pickup up HM. We did a few more rides at DCA and then went over to Disneyland.
We were there yesterday, Thursday afternoon and it was quite busy. I asked some of the kids in one of the lines why they were not in school. Some were on a year round program and on break, others just didn't go to school that day. It didn't help that Thunder Mountain was down. It should be back up today from maintenance. Also we saw fastpass kiosks covered up and Small World and they had already roped it for fastpass so it looks like another ride will have it. I wish they would do FP for Pirates.
Also, we saw a lot of LDS. they have some Utah convention this week.
Remember that this is the time of year that Utah has breaks going on so the parks end up with a lot of them there. As well as I guess a few schools do have a Fall Break..not sure where as we don't have those here and we are not far from the parks. The last weekend of the month is usually when many come over from Nevada from a 3 day weekend. So go expecting a crowded weekend. Really I don't know a day in Oct that isn't crowded or extra crowded anymore because of the Halloween offerings and parties.
This Sunday may be busier than normal as it is the last weekend day before the Halloween stuff comes down.
Aside from the convention that was that week, they wear shirts that have LDS logos, sayings, Brigham Young logos. It isn't hard to figure out, just about everyone at Disney has some type of logo shirt on that either tells where they are from or that they are visiting and not from CA.
Yesterday wasn't too bad. Sundays seem to be lighter that Saturdays. It is still busy in the afternoon and the Haunted Mansion gets real busy early and the fast passes go quickly, unlike the rest of the year. For whatever reason Star Tours fastpasses were available in the afternoon for early afternoon. When we left around 2pm the fast pass line to get in was all the way back to main street. It was almost as long as the corn dog line. They overlapped. Kind of amusing.
Apparently, everyone showed up after you left because we got to DCA around 5:15 on Saturday, and we only went on Guardians After Dark there, but it was pretty crowded. We made it into Disneyland around 6:45 and it was a madhouse. People everywhere, made worse because Pirates was down at that moment.
I expect today (Sunday) to be very crowded because it's the last weekend day before Halloween, and fewer APs are blocked out than on Saturday.
I have to agree with you. It was a mad house yesterday. Especially after 2pm. When we left DCA and headed to DL in the early evening, Main St was packed. The walkway thru Adventure land was rough, and they had crowd control blocking off the bridge over Pirates (one way only into Adventureland.) It was just a step down from Christmas week crows in my opinion.
Today was VERY busy. We were there from 9-1130a. Even DTD flowing towards the Esplanade was wall to wall people. I felt bad because people weren't staying to the right and those coming from the Esplanade must have felt like they were swimming upstream. At 9am, FP for Space Mountain was for noon. By 10am, it was for 2pm.
That is why we leave early afternoon. If we go at night it is during the week.
We were there a week ago on Thursday evening it wasn't that bad. Must be Holoween fever, lol. What is funny is all the Christmas decorations showing up and the Christmas gifts in the shops. Talk about skipped holidays!
Yesterday (Monday) was quite crowded in addition to Sunday being busy.
