    I happened to be in Disney's California Adventure last night around park closing, and got a chance to watch as the technicians prepared the World of Color platform for that evening's test run. This testing happens almost nightly, but it's the first chance I've had to see it and I wanted to share some photos.

  3. Captain EO cast member previews Friday

    Walt Disney Imagineering is currently "exercising the systems" of Captain EO, and put out a call for interested cast members to attend preview showings Friday afternoon. This has sparked speculation that the attraction will open to the public this weekend, but the Disneyland Resort has not made any announcements about possible opening dates. We'll pass along more information as we have it.

  5. Disneyland Resort hotel workers begin week-long hunger strike with candlelight vigil

    10 protesters, including seven Disneyland Resort Hotel cast members, began a week-long hunger strike Tuesday night. The demonstration is the latest in a series of protests that have marked the two-year-long labor dispute between the Disneyland Resort and Unite Here Local 11, which represents workers at the three Disneyland Resort Hotels*.
