  1. Guardians Conversion Kicks Off with Movie Premiere

    Disney California Adventure’s plan to retheme the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror early next year as Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout is supposed to be the first step in gradually converting most of the park's Hollywood Land to a Marvel-centric universe.

    What’s supposed to remain untouched are the Hyperion Theatre, Disney Animation building, and Off the Page—creating an awkward blockade between the Guardians tower and what will become the other Marvel attractions.

  2. Disneyland Hanging Up Pay Phones

    About a month ago, construction walls popped up around the pay telephones at the Village Haus restaurant and at the exit for Space Mountain.

    The walls have since come down, and the phones are gone. The plan is going to remove all the pay telephones in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. The pay telephones will remain in Downtown Disney and at the hotels.

  4. World of Color Fastpass details revealed

    Disney confirmed tonight that they will use the Fastpass system to issue tickets for the World of Color show starting on June 11. Mary Niven, vice president of DCA, describes the World of Color viewing area as a theater, and says that the viewing in Paradise Park and the bridge to Ariel's Grotto will be controlled via tickets.
