  1. Disney Cruise Line to launch Wave Phone service in December

    Disney will offer guests the use of "Portable Wave Phones" on board the ships of the Disney Cruise Line starting in December (December 16th on the Disney Wonder; December 18th on the Disney Magic.) The portable phones can send and receive phone calls and text messages from other Wave phones when used on board the ship or on Castaway Cay.   2. DCL survey - new destinations, departure posts and luggage service

    I just received a Disney Cruise Line survey, and found some of the questions very interesting, especially the list of possible itineraries. The Bahamas and 7-night Caribbean cruises aren't anything new, but look at some of the others:

  3. Disney Cruise Line to announce Palo price increase

    Disney Cruise Line will announce tomorrow that prices for Palo will go up $5 per person starting in January, 2011.

    Champagne Brunch - $20 (was $15)
    Dinner - $20 (was $15)
    High Tea - $10 (was $5)

    The price increase is effective on each ship as of the following sailings:

    1/26/11 Maiden Voyage of the Disney Dream
    1/29/11 voyage of the Disney Magic
    1/30/11 voyage of the Disney Wonder

  4. Kids Sail Free on Select 7-Night Caribbean Cruises

    Ted from Two Bears Travel just alerted me to the new Kids Sail Free offer on Disney Cruise Line:

    Children ages 17 and under traveling with 2 full-fare Guests in the same stateroom sail free on most 7-Night Caribbean cruises from January 8, 2011 through March 5, 2011, excluding the February 19, 2011 sailing.

  5. More details of the Disney Dream

    To start the one-year countdown to the first public voyage of the Disney Dream, Disney Cruise Line released a few more tantalizing details of the features and services to be found on the new ship:
