Well, it is better than 95% definite that LuminAria will not be returing this upcoming Holiday season at DCA. Cynthia felt that more time was needed to continue research in new show effects and components for the show.

So, the next possible appearance of a lagoon show may come as early as March of next year with the all-new Spring/Summer Paradise Bay show. Then a newly revised or completely all-new Christmas lagoon show will reappear November/December 2003 at DCA. If the name LuminAria will remain for the 2003 Holiday Season is still unclear.

Work is still progressing on show effect research and testing for a lagoon show for next year.

(Note to the Admin's, Marcie is a regular columnist over at MouseInfo.com, and this was a "news report", and not a normal thread)

Well, I guess Aladdin needed a new pair of shoes, because this comment was in today's Westcoaster.net update....

Ms. Hamburger and her Helpers have apparently struck again... yoinking budget from LuminAria and the show that was under development for Paradise Bay in DCA for some weird purpose. So don't expect anything to happen there for a few years now.

Oh well, it sounded good, but the infamous budget strikes again.......

I'd rather they do LuminAria right than do it quickly. DCA has had so many things slapped together at the last minute, it's rather refreshing to see a change in that attitude.
