Per Michael at MouseInfo here (http://www.mouseinfo.com/mousetalk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4728):

For those folks interested in this, beginning tomorrow 8/27 you can no longer get a 1 day park hopper. It is unknown why they have stopped this particular media ticket.

So what do you guys make of this? Did it stop because the ticket was a flop or are they preparing for the move to only 1 day park hoppers or new media ticket? I'll withhold what I think until some people have answered as I'm still not sure.

Well they were good when you wanted to take along a non-AP.
you could get them into both parks. But it doesnt make that much of a difference to me. lol. When will they raise normall ticket prices again?

Tradition also means that they will take away 1-2 attractions and replace them with nothing as they raise the admission.

The death of the 1-day park hopper has been greatly exaggerated. I just got off the phone with DLR and they say that they are still selling it at the higher price of $69.

From what I understand, they had them Sunday, discontinued them Monday, and reinstated them Wed. or Thurs.... Do you think maybe those chimps from the Capitol One mastercard commericals are running things? ;)

Yeah, tabacco, it must be awful for you guys working there. You never know WHAT you're going to be selling when you go to work in the mornings.

I'll bet you get a lot of abuse for stuff like this, that obviously you have no control over! But when people get there expecting to buy something that isn't there, you're the one they beat up on, huh?

Sorry, on behalf of all my fellow tourists!

I was waiting in line yesterday because I forgot my AP and needed a comp pass and the person in front of me was buying 1 day park hopper pass so apparently they still have them.

Yep, we do. $69 for adults, $59 for kids.
