Can anyone tell me what E-Ticket means? Like when MP is describing a ride. I saw a C-Ticket too...

It used to be that admission to the park didn't get you on the rides. You still needed tickets for each ride and the tickets had letters A through E. A tickets were the weenie rides and E tickets were the best rides.

If you're interested, one of the new Walt Disney Treasures tins, Disneyland: Secrets, Stories & Magic, includes a facsimile of a Disneyland ticket book inside. it's an informative DVD if you like Disneyland, and it even has a game you can play that 's designed around the ticket book motif.

It could also be used to describe teaching your teenager how to drive on the freeway.

Absolute best-of-breed top-of-the-line Disneyland attraction. Matterhorn, Space Mountain, "it's a small world," Pirates of the Caribbean.

Disneyland attractions used to require individual ride tickets, which were valued "A" (the lowest level: Main Street Cinema, Fire Truck) to "E" (see above). They were sold in ticket books at the entrance, much like Passports are now.

LOL - how times have changed. I remember those tickets from when I was a kid... but I still read the thread title and immediately thought, "Disneyland is going to issue electronic tickets now?"

Yes, tickets for Disneyland. But not tickets for the ride since they don't do that anymore.
