Hi!

Disney World, Disneyland, Disney stores and ESPN zones are going to be observing September 11 in their own ways, but mostly keeping everything relatively low-key.

There will be a fly-over at Anaheim Stadium before the Anaheim Angels play. The stores and ESPN Zones will do their own observances. Disney is trying to keep everything low-key because people go to Disney for respite from everyday life, but there will be opportunities to mark the date. All flags will be lowered to half-mast before the parks open. There will be an extended flag-lowering on Main Street at WDW. There will be a moment of silence, followed by patriotic music - unless there is a nationwide moment of silence and then, the parks will have its own moment during another time. Show schedules, rides and attractions will be quiet during the moment of silence. Finally, two musical groups will play patriotic music at the American Adventure Pavilion.

Best Regards,
Julia Elzie
