WOW Those are great. I'm confused about the ship in the background. I went in 1958 for the first time and only remember bits & pieces.

Isn't that part of the old Skull Rock?

Things were placed defferently in the old days. I have a old Disneyland Guide Book, and the teacups are in a different place now, than they were. There has been change in ride location (I blieve...correct me, if I'm wrong)

The pirate ship was sponsored by Chicken of the Sea and Skull Rock was on the backside of the Monstro whale tunnel on the Storybookland ride.

The teacups and Dumbo were in different locations then - they were moved to their present locations during the major Fantasyland rehab of which year I do not remember.........

This is whem Eisner came in right? Or does it have nothing to do with one another?

thanks everyone, I was pretty excited.. she gave me a lot of other 'old' photos of my youth but those are extra special :) I have fond memories of sitting in my grandparents back yard and watching the fireworks from Disneyland....the area they used to live is now a shopping mall....
