thank you for the posts, but the main reason i posted this thread was to hear what people had to say. i have already read some of those before, and since there are new people on here all the time, i figured there would always be new experiences. :)

Ah, ridiculous stories about Celeb sightings... where to begin ;)

Living in Arizona, we tend to go to the park on the least busy day possible, so never usually when there's a celeb hanging around. The only celebs I met also made me fear getting killed by a falling sattelite the next day because my life was complete once I saw them ;) (Kidding of course)

My first embaressing encounter began when my parents dropped me off at the school to get on the bus with LeapforJoy's group. I was pretty excited to get to go to Disney again, but when my parents came up to talk to her, and she looked at my High School Musicl shirt, she said "You know the whole cast with the exception of Zac Efron will be there filming the christmas parade tomorrow, right?"

My mouth hung open, literally. I wanted to say something and didn't know what, soI just stood there.... with my jaw dropped... feeling awkward.

I waited on Main Street for around 3-4 hours that day to get in to see them. I was alone that day (I tend to do Disneyland alone anyway, but I would have taken my parents had they been there) so I promised myself not to get too crazy. That didn't work out. The second I stood on my toes and caught a glimpse of Ashley Tisdale, I screamed the loudest scream I've ever secreamed. Embaressing encounter number two.

Everyone throughout was yelling stuff to the cast, so I decided to yell "YOU ROCK, ASHLEY!!!!!" She didn't look which just made me almost DIE with embaressment, until Monique tapped her on the shoulder and pointed to me. Ashley then gave me a little wave and blew me a kiss and I decided all the embaressment that day was worth it!

Final embaressment of the day: I was RIGHT in front of the audience cam and didn't realize it for a while. So who knows if they got me smiling like an idiot, or screaming like an idiot ;) But hey, if your watching, look for the black-haired girl with pigtails, a red tiara, a green shrug, and a High School Musical shirt! :D

A few years ago, I saw the lead singer from the band Cheap Trick walking by the Matterhorn. It turns out that they were performing at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney that week.

I don't know his name, but in September I ran into the guy who played "Edgar" for a couple of seasons on 24. He was there with a little baby so I didn't bother him.

I saw Nicole Richie once...

I would have rather seen Gwen Stefani. Even John Stamos would be better!

The sad thing was, EVERYONE was staring at her. I did for a second, realized what an idiot I looked like, rolled my eyes, and continued on heading toward Space Mountain.

I saw "someone" yesterday, but like most of my celeb encounters at Disneyland I don't know who the "someone" is until days / weeks later. She was having a photo done with Mickey on Main Street, and I *almost* pulled out my camera to get a photo to see if anyone could identify her, but I thought the better of it. I don't want random tourists snapping my Mickey pictures, and I doubt she did either.

I wouldn't recognize any but a handful of celebrities if I did see them. I've probably ridden with someone or sat near them in a restaurant and had no idea. I'm so oblivious.

I resemble that "I saw someone but I don't know who" remark. Usually I don't notice celebrities - I notice a group with a bunch of plaid CMs and say "Ok, who is that?" ;)

Many years ago - (I could google the Atlanta Olympics to find out when - let's guess 11 years ago 1996?) we were eating at Thunder Ranch BBQ (:sigh: Remember that?) when we saw a group that was obviously "Someone" but we had no idea WHO. Frankly, we were guessing they were middle eastern by their appearance. We asked one of the CMs who was bussing tables around us. It was Gloria Estephen. Oops. Ok, so I'm really bad at IDing celebs.

When Jane Seymour passed us on Main St. my two girlfriends started flipping out and squealing "that's Jane Seymour, that's the medicine woman!". I was like yeah she is here for the candlight procession?! But they stared and were all starstruck. I got more excited everytime i saw the whiite rabbit. "Come on guys let's chase him!!!"

I saw Christina Aguilera a short time back and it was interesting watching her bodyguard losing site of his client - - and in the interim a fan of hers got real close and very excited - :p :D. I could tell the fan was asking for an autograph, but Christina didn't have a pen. Heck I was sitting on a bench across the road from her and could tell she didn't have anything in her pockets. Then when the bodyguard realized he lost his client -  - he came back to her and was trying to shoo the fan away from 20 feet away. After a short time the fan finally left and she was able to go about her business.

My aunt used to be a "plaid" in the 70's and escorted tons of famous people, including Middle Eastern royalty. She says that for the most part people left celebrities alone back then.

I saw Kate Moss in April.:)

My parents always notice important business people, or old celebrities that nobody else recognizes.
