Someone posted a link (in Sept. 2007) to a "picture" of what the Disneyland Castle will look like this holiday season. I can not find that post? Can you help?
Thanks!:)

Here's the original Wintertime Enchantment thread (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=78252).

Unfortunately, the image of what the castle may look like has been removed by KC Wilkerson.

From the Future Disney Projects (http://www.ald.org.uk/KCWilkerson/show.php?id=1772) page:

I am working on numerous future Disney projects. Unfortunately, due to Disney-fan-sites copying and re-posting information and photos/renderings posted here, I will not be posting information about these projects until they are open.

I'm the person who originally found this photo and information and posted it first on micechat and was going to post here, but someone already had. You'll find the photo here...

Did anyone notice the date on that link to KC Wilkerson's site? It says it will start on Dec 10th. That's a bummer for a lot of people who have planned to go the first 2 weeks.

It also kind of sounds like from the way the described it in the original posting that it might be even be snow but just a lot of lights that will give the illusion of snow when they are lit. Does anyone else read it that way? I mean, I don't get why they would need that many million lights in addition to snow, unless the lights are creating the snow effect.

I don't see the link to that website, but underneath the image of the castle, it says "Opens:16 November 2007Closes:06 January 2008." Let's hope those are the correct dates! Looks MAGICAL!:)

I think mid Nov is correct. That's when they shift from Halloween to Christmas

Click the link in Little Mermaid's post that says Future Disney Projects. That is the link to the designer's site where it used to say Nov 16th, but now it says Dec 10. Could be nothing, but just caught my eye.

Maybe it's a mistake and he really meant to put Nov 10th ??? Wishful thinking ???

I don't think anyone even knows what it's gonna be until they get in there, get it up, and do some testing. It's probably one of these things that's just impossible to predict on paper, even though they'd like to have some idea and get some sort of sense, of how it's gonna work...at this juncture.

They've already got the snow machines around the hub. I'm not sure how much more falling snow they need, given that nobody will even be able, or near, to feel snow falling on the castle....

I think it's just the icicles that light up. But, who knows?, at this point.

Ok, I'm sorry, that thing is hideous. But the sketch of the proposed christmas castle decor looked nothing like that
