Most of us love DL and some of us love DCA. This thread isn't about the good stuff. It's about the worst. How about it? What current DL or DCA attraction/food/queue/whatever needs to go?

If I was going to get rid of anything from DCA, it would have to be Steps in time. It was an awful interpretation of Disney. At the end of it, I was thinking of the line Bill Murray says in Scrooged- "Oh my God, did that suck!" That show makes Superstar Limo look like a classic. They should call it Sucks in Time. I mean, dancers with fake fish heads? What were they smoking when they wrote this thing? Even the Seasons of the Vine film is 100 percent cooler than this show. Well, I'll get down from my soapbox and let someone else speak.

If I had the power I'd tear out all of DCA and put back what used to be there, THE GOOD OLD PARKING LOT!

Here is a silly one, hold a year long raffle for all the lame rides in DCA, rmove them (to the winners) and rename DCA the Empire of Atlantis, Disney Atlantis, Legends of Atlantis, Atlantis Undersea etc. Make all the rides look like they were built Jules Verne style so they would never "age" and forget about a themed resort named after a state. Or did I hear a rumor about Disney New Jersey Adventure?

Steps in Time has GOT to GO!

I try to be polite in the theater, out of respect for the performers, so I don't walk out of shows. But to be perfectly honest, I have never wanted a show to end as badly as I did that one. I was like "Oh good it's over." "Darnit they're singing again!" "Okay, now it seems to be concluded" "Drat! another song!" "This is the end right?" "Aiieeeeeee!"

I hate to see such talent wasted in a show like that... give the girl SOME pride, there's got to be room for her over at Animazement, at least! (What a voice when you give her the material!)

What kind of idiot writes a show with 13 year old boys as their target audience? A theater is the LAST place they want to be at that age! Better if they'd written a show for 7-9 year old little girls. Just look in the crowd at Animazement. Those are the types of people willing to watch a musical stage show. Those are the people you should aim for.

In-your-face and edgy? Try kid with a bad attitude and a "fairy godmother" teaching him to believe in himself (what was it he was having the self confidence problem over anyway?) by singing a few songs at him which had NOTHING to do with the problem no one gets, and meanwhile the whole thing looks like a bad backstreet boys concert.

They were right... watching that show is like watching a train wreck. You only look to see how much more carnage there can be.

The worst (and very un-disney):

1. Being able to see the outside world from over 60% of the park.
2. An expensive carnival themed to look cheap...if that makes any sense?
3. Lack of transitions between lands - Wilderness into carnival? Wharf area into farmland?
4. Lack of trees and shade (for now)
5. Too many movies
6. McDonalds in the park

I get what you're sayin' 80's. But, I think that it doesn't look cheap, It just is. They made it look decent. It just gets me that they would put those rides in a D-park. That is what is cheap.

Here's my list...
1. Innoventions
2. Radio Disney: teeny music playing around Tomorrowland is not very appealing
3. empty Sub Lagoon
4. empty Rods building
5. empty PeopleMover tracks
6. empty space near Big Thunder
7. The THOUGHT, not to mention the reality of the Critter Country, Pooh vs. Walt, mess.
8. Lack of upkeep around park.
9. No Ursula at Fantasmic
10. Paul and Mike in office.

Not the sub lagoon; my grandfather helped build that. Just change the story line. But I agree on innovations and superstar limo.

eforest, what I meant was I don't like it being empty. It's waste. I would love a new storyline.;)

eforest, tell us what you know about your grandfather helping to build the sub lagoon. Submarine Voyage was always the first ride I'd head to on each visit.

My worst of list...

1. The Porno Jazz background music at DTD.
2. FastPass (Sorry, not a big fan. Relieves the park of adding big ticket attractions to spread out crowds or of theming queues.)
3. POC mentioned this, Radio Disney studio in Tomorrowland. Empty more often than not. Should be moved to Hollywood Pictures Backlot.
4. Hyperion Theater. The only thing permanent in there are the seats. The stage and all the stuff around it are painted metal screens screwed to metal scaffolding! Turn this into a ride building and build a real theater.
5. Sense of entry into the resort. The resort expansion has taken all of this away. Guest might as well be dropping off friends at the airport. Drive into a big grey parking structure, load onto a tram (still not much of a hint where you're going), and dumped in front of a bakery. Just follow the signs (a sure sign of poor design) through the mostly barren esplanade to the park of your choice. Walking through the old parking lot did a better job.

The rest are all too easy...
Superstar Limo, Steps In Time, Innoventions, Astro Orbiter (location, location, location), McDonalds, Bountiful Valley (not very bountiful), too much ODV, and never being more than 15 feet from a shopping opportunity.

Disneyland- replace Innoventions with Alien Encounter
DCA- replace DCA with parking lot...... it was more interesting .

To respond about my Grandfather working on the subs I don't know much. He also worked on Fantasmic. What I do know is that when it was finished they would not let any family members in to see the show. Sad

Speaking about worst I was so disappointed when I saw the "New" Tomorrow Land. What was new about it; the paint? Why not put in a new ride. Alien Encounters sounds fun.

Mulholland Madness. Hands down the worst attraction in the resort. I'd rather play the "Games of the Boardwalk" than be beaten up by that eyesore.

It can stay at DCA, but McDonalds MUST be removed from Disneyland!

people who don't care.
people who smoke where they shouldn't be.
people who are loud.
people who use light chasers (yes, that means YOU.)
people who let their kids talk really loud when they're sitting right in front of you on POTC.
people who yell at their kids, like "We're here! ENJOY YOURSELF NOW" .

consistent theme, eh? I have no faults with the park... even if there's some peeling paint or something.... you get there, and everything else is so right that you don't care. no complaints, mate. EXCEPT FOR PEOPLE. An ideal day is one where there's enough people so it doesn't seem empty, but not enough to run into me. And no one has kids under age 11.

When you wish upon a star... I wish, I wish...

They'd get rid of Superstar Limo and put in a Kwiki Mart.
Either take down the tracks from my beloved Rocket Rods or release the People Mover. Eliminate whatever the space info place is that I never bother with and...well I'll just stop here.
