Has anyone experienced dining at Cafe Orleans for breakfast? Do you need to make reservations - Priority Seating for breakfast or is it on a walk-in basis? Any comments on food?

When we did it in July, we didn't have ressies, and had no problem getting seated at 9am.

I went with a large group. We were seated fairly quick. It sort of went downhill from there. We were seperated into 3 tables. Only 1 tabel got decent service. They were eating while we were still waiting for our drinks.

We have had breakfast there once. We didn't need a PS since they had just opened a week or two prior and almost no one even knew they were open. I wasn't all that impressed, but we will try it again on our next trip. I had questions about the menu and instead of finding out the answers, our server just told me that I should probably order something else because he didn't know the answer! Uh... ooookay. I thought the food was comparable to a counter service place, just kind of mediocre, but the price wasn't much more than a counter service and we were waited on, plus we had really good little fruit bowls that accompanied our meals that were a nice treat - not to mention having someone come around to refill my coffee!!!

I've had breakfast there twice, and both times were excellent. I sat out on the patio and had great service. They have a breakfast version of the monte cristo sandwich. It's more eggy-cheesy, but really tasty! I've been a longtime fan of breakfast at the Riverbelle Terrace, but there's something to be said for table service!

This thread reminded me of the only time my friends and I tried breakfast there. Unfortunately we were a tad disappointed, tho' that may be because almost all of us tried the Monte Cristo French Toast (http://www.flickr.com/photos/gone2disneyland/1149951320/) and didn't enjoy it as much compared to our favorite Monte Cristo Sandwich (http://www.flickr.com/photos/gone2disneyland/557180797/in/set-72157600373678627/). But I still ought to go back and try something else.

LUCKILY, my daughter and I split one and split an egg/bacon/potato breakfast also. NONE of us liked the french toast. Won't be doing it again. (BUT, we LOVE the MC at lunch!)

Sounds good. Thanks to all for their comments. My family will be in DL during early December when the Riverbelle Terrace (where we love breakfast) will be closed. I think we will try breakfast there one morning.

We ate there in early May. We did not have PS and got right in. Actually, there were probably only 4 tables being used. My husband had the eggs benedict. He found it a bit too spicy. I had the Mickey beignets and a side of bacon. They were very yummy! The kids have Mickey waffles and bacon. Other then dh's being too spicy we enjoyed everything and had good service.

If Riverbelle Terrace is closed you may need PS.

Do you think they would let you order a regular monte cristo at breakfast instead of the m.c. french toast? I have always wanted to try a monte cristo, and we are eating at cafe orleans for breakfast, not lunch.

If Riverbelle is closed, I will make PS. Thanks. Does anyone know how long Riverbelle will be closed?
