Ok, I know this is totally wrong in so many ways, but we might have to do it.

I have friends coming from out of town who have never been to Disneyland. My dream is to take them to Disneyland for the first time. However, they are finacially tight, so paying for four tickets to Disneyland is an issue. I had the idea that maybe I could borrow my friends' passes and they could use them. I have a couple of friends who look like the two kids, so I was just going to get the passes for the kids. However, before I do that, I want to know what happens if we get caught? Are the passes confiscated? Are we kicked out of the park? Do the CMs look that closely at the pictures any way? If you know at all, info would be great! I just don't want my friends' passes to be taken away!

Thanks so much!

Ok I won't even go into how wrong what you are considering is IMHO, but what I will tell you is this, we were just there for five days, every single time we went into one of the parks the CM not only looked at the picture on our passes but called us by name, I'm sure that is a "policy" they need to follow now but it is what we experienced, one CM even commented on how awful the typical AP passes turn out and how I don't look like a "....." insert my real name there.....from the back of my AP.

This NONTRANSFERABLE Passport is property of Disneyland Resort. It provides the individual whose name and picture apppear herein wit pre-specified, revocable privleges, wich may be changed or cancelled at any time without notice.

I'm sure that if caught they will confiscate the passes and at the least your friends will have to pay 20 bucks each to replace them, provided Disney doesn't become aware they willingly let you use them, which constitutes fraud, then they just may lose them permenantly and may or may not be allowed to buy new ones...someone who is a CM might have better information on that end of it...

The Walt statue in the hub will start to cry. That's what will happen.:D

My sister and I look almost like twins, we'd pass off our Six Flags pass all the time... but we each got our own AP because they are very strict, and getting kicked out of Six Flags isn't have as mortifying as being kicked from DL! You never feel the same again!

Please don't make the Walt statue in the Hub cry. :crying:

If you feel you must take your friends to Disneyland, and they're strapped for cash, you should tell them immediately that you'd like to take them (and why). Ask them to start saving up for their tickets. If need be, offer to buy them lunch or something to make it a little more cost-effective.

In the meantime, check out the Mousesavers (http://www.mousesavers.com) web site. They do a good job of listing the prices of tickets, and all the special offers that are currently available. With adults able to buy park hoppers at the children's price, you might discover that your friends can afford it after all.

I liked Matterhorn Fan's response.

If you can't afford something, you save money until you can.

I'll stop now before I say anything too harsh. What you're considering doing is just wrong. Life is sometimes about not getting everything we want or making sacrifices to get it.

I have a friend who borrowed her sister's pass once to get in. The CM (a young man) stopped her and said, "Why are you so much hotter in real life?" and smiled. She laughed nervously and said something about having a bad hair day for the picture. He let her through, but she was so nervous and racked with guilt the rest of the day that she couldn't even enjoy herself! I was secretly glad it bothered her so much because I didn't approve of what she was doing. She felt so awful, in fact, that she went out and bought herself her own pass the following week so that she would never even be tempted to do it again!

This is EXACTLY why we need to get the fingerprint (or whatever it is) thing that they have in WDW. The only problem is I hear it doesn't work half the time over there. I can't even begin to describe how wrong this is. Save up for it then! I can't tell you how good it felt to PAY for my Premium AP after SAVING for it (a college student, in case you didn't know, is very often BROKE!!) My advice, you have to do what you think is right, but I can tell you right now that Disney wouldn't hesitate to kick them out of the park and revoke your friends APs. And I wouldn't count on them being able to get the APs back for a while. Do what you want..

The minute the walt statue cries, the alarm bells go off and storm troopers run through the gates to arrest the guilty parties. The entire scene is captured on video and immediately released to news stations ready to humiliate the arrested. Then, the cheaters, their children, and their children's children, and all their reletives, are banned from all Disney parks for eternity.

It's quite a ta-do! Really, my a friend of my cousin's babysitter's car mechanic's friend saw it happen once - so don't you doubt it!

I agree with you all. It was just an idea I had, but after thinking about it for a while and reading what you all said, I realized how wrong it is. I talked to my friends and they said that they will be able to afford it and so I am just going to forget the whole thing. Thanks for all your help.

AAUUUGGHHH!
Don't do it!! If you get caught, those pass are revoked for a year or permanently!!! They will take the cards away from you and you'll never see them again! The original ap holder can NOT get a refund for the pass. Your friends signed a legal document to obtain that pass. It is their responsibility not to misuse their pass in any way. Plus, it is a long process to get the card back. Trust me, I've seen guests jump, kick, scream, and other unsightly acts to get their passes back. It is not pretty.
At the resort, we revoked passes all the time. In fact, everyday, every hour, every minute. I used to revoke the passes.
As for the attemptees, they are escorted out of the park or they can purchase tickets to come in.
Let you know, passes stay on file for a long time. So, we can catch the ex-holders even before they set foot in the park.
I highly don't recommend it. Yes, it is possible to sneak in but don't risk it. You don't want your friends to go through this ordeal. And I don't want you to lose your friends.
