I'm SO sad. Our last night at Disneyland is Sunday, July 8th. (We'll have the next morning & afternoon before we head to the airport). But I was hoping to have our last dinner at Hooke's Point, since we've never eaten at any of the places in the Disneyland Hotel. I was surprised and saddened when the reservationist said they were closed on Sunday's and Monday's? :crying: Does anyone know why?

Now, I'm trying to figure out another new place to go...are all of the restaurants in the Hotels closed those two days?

You might want to ask about Steakhouse 55. Or you could go to Storytellers at the GC. Goofys would be open at DLH, I think its open everyday.

Closed Sunday and Monday?? Wow, I did not know this. What a bummer. Seems kinda odd to be closed two days out of the week during the summer months.

Does anyone know why?

Um... they are closed Sundays and Mondays because... um, they are closed Sundays and Mondays.

Having all the restaurants at the Hotels closed on Sundays and Mondays wouldn't make sense, right? There are other options, just Hook's Pointe isn't one of them during the time you are staying (which is weird since you mentioned that you wanted to go in July).

I agree with one of the replies though, try Steakhouse 55. Now you didn't mention who you are dining with, but if it's all adults (or maybe some very mature children), then you might want to also consider the Napa Rose or the upstairs to the Golden Vine Winery at DCA.

Ha ha....okay, so my remark re: Sunday & Mondays and the reason why they would be closed did sound pretty stupid! :geek: Like I said, I was taken by surprise. :)

It's my 18 year old daughter and I so, Steakhouse 55 might be good. (although she's not a big beef eater.)

I think I'll also research one of the locations inside GCH.

Having a 5 day a week operation is a major cost savings, as you only need one main staff, especially in the kitchen.

This is very common in Luxury Hotels and Casinos, they have multiple restaurants and want to have the main chefs available when the location is open, so you will see one location closed say on Sunday and Monday, and another one on Tuesday and Wednesday. Of course, all the locations are open on Friday and Saturday.

Steakhouse 55 might be good for you then (as they have stuff other then beef there too).
