Just trying to remember which restaurant gives cotton candy after the meal?

I know I read it somewhere, but I can't seem to find this info now. Maybe someone here can jog my memory? Thanks!

Ariel's Grotto did, at least when we were there for lunch years ago. Don't know if they still do.

Ariel's Grotto. But this past March, we didn't get any. As a parent, I was kind of glad not to feed the children's sweet tooth. But it was always such a nice way to end the meal and I was a little sad not to have it.

Thanks!

I'm always "anti-cotton-candy mean mom", but I thought if we we knew we would get it there, we could plan to eat there once. It would make it easier to talk DS out of the constant "can we buy some" that I know I'm going to get from him!

They were not giving it out in April when we were there.

Maybe I'm just blind but I don't usually see a lot of cotton candy at DLR, FWIW.

Now, glow crap -

I'm an anti-cotton candy mom, too, but it's really not that hard to keep away from it at DLR. (Either that or my kids have given up? Nah, that can't be it! LOL.)

The Aladin Hotel and Casino(Vegas) Buffet has Cotton candy as part of their dessert menu! Must have eaten 4 of those things because we were jumping all over the place afterwards!!

Good!!!

Now, glow crap -

I stocked up at the dollar store on glow necklaces and glow glasses - one for each night, I'm hoping that's enough.

Now I'm off topic :) What type of glowies are most prominent? Just the necklaces, or fancier stuff?

Necklaces.

Also the stupid spinner things that kids play with entirely close to other people so they hit people with them. Do they still have the swords (We don't do nights that much anymore...) And those Roses from Beauty & the Beast.

OK, I'm a bad parent. Its MDM that is usually saying "No" to the cotton candy. And for us, its the rope light necklaces, but we usually get them for the dogs.

I'll give you this one, but don't let it happen again or I might have to start disagreeing with you ;)

I notice it even more now because I have a co-worker who loves the stuff, so I bring her some periodically, though I've told her I only buy pink, not blue, though I'll make an exception for sparkly white, but they didn't have it this past Christmas.

I usually just want a taste, not the whole thing. (Hi, S, in case you're lurking and reading this thread.)

Do they still have the roses? I didn't think I saw them anymore.

Don't forget the spiffy new flashing ones on the ears for the new promotion. Those are so wonderful in the stretch room of Haunted Mansion.

Ugh.... I HATE those new mouse ears. They are so obnoxious.

They have a cart in Downtown Disney that sells cotton candy by the bucketfull - and I mean they really sell it in big buckets.

I know this because my son had to have some last time we went. Lots of different flavors and pretty expensive. We got bubblegum flavored and still have some in the cupboard. Want it?:p

Isn't cotton candy the best! And if your fingers aren't all sticky you didn't eat it right!

Do you remember when Disneyland use to make cotton candy? That was the day! Heard it was a messy job for ODV people though.

At the "Left Earth Cafe & Poetry Stage" in Topanga Canyon they have invented "Cotton Broccoli: Vegetable's answer to cotton candy!" How is it? No one knows because no one has ever tried it.

Have any of you Cotton Candy fans ever tried a fried Snickers bar or a fried Twinkie at a county or state fair?

I ran a cotton candy booth at a community fair when I was a teenager in 4-H. It's a nasty job. It got everywhere. I was covered head to toe when I was done. Blech.

The spinning globes that look like psychadelic ice cream cones sold at Target for about $3.99 that have their spinning parts contained inside a plastic globe - so nothing to hit innocent bystanders with - are kind of good. Luckily my sons are young enough (2 and 4) that they can't tell the difference between generic and genuine Disneyland merchandise.

We got a rose on Wednesday, so yes, they are still there.
