I am wondering if anyone has taken one of the premiere guided tours that are private for your party?? If so, was it worth the $75.00 per hour?? Was it worth that much money to have preferred ride access?? Did you get to keep your VIP ride access for the remainder of the day or your trip, or was that only during the time you were with your private guide?? Does anyone know how to get the VIP passes which eliminate the waiting lines?? I have had these passes in DisneyWorld and it was phenomenal, but I am having trouble finding out how to obtain them in DisneyLand. Please advise.

I believe the guided tours you are refering to are more like VIP tours at DL. Actually they are more *recognizable* VIP tours than just VIP tours. My understanding is they are available for people that would be readily recoginized and bothered by other guests if they didn't have a guide and they had to wait in line.

I know of an aging rock star that asked to have the guided tour and was allowed to have it, but the CMs did talk amongst themselves about the validity of the rockers need to have the guide, as no one really knew or cared who she was any longer.

I guess you could call City Hall and inquire about doing this, but I'm pretty sure you'd be told the tour does not exist, because it really isn't a tour for the general public.

As to your question about the no waiting in line priledge....That is only when your personal guide is with you. So after the time is up that you paid for you no longer have the prviledge. There is no pass, that I am aware of, it's the CM that accompanies you that gets you on the attractions through the exits.

Do they really offer these tours for *anyone* with the money to spend at WDW? If they do I think it is wrong, wrong, wrong. I can understand celebraties needing the guides and the buffer from guests without the common courtisy to leave them alone, but just the average Joe? If that is happening I bet once it becomes common knowledge the lines to enter through the exits with a guide will be pretty dang long!

If you look at the website at the very bottom of this page, it has the information regarding the guided tour. If you scroll down to the premiere tour, it tells all about it. It says you do not get special attraction privelages but . . . . . ;)

Ahh, I see what you're talking about. I assumed, silly thing to do, that you were refering to VIP escorts. My bad.

I don't think the premium tours get back door entrance to unlimitted attractions, but I'm just not sure. I'm fairly certain that any back door privledges would expire when the tour ends.

Even if it did come with back door privledges the tour is a 4 hour minimum. So that comes to $300 for 4 hours. I guess if you got 10 people together at $30 a head it wouldn't be too bad, *if* you were back doored onto every attraction you could squeeze into 4 hours. But for some reason I just don't think that is what happpens on theses tours.

Have you called DL to inquire about exactly what you get for $75 an hour for a minimum of 4 hours? I'm curious as to what they offer for that price.
