What can you ask to do on a VIP tour? Can you go behind the scenes of rides and then go on them? If so, do you wait in line for the ride? Can they arrange special seating for the fireworks as part of the tour? Is a meal included in the tour? Could you arrange for a meal or dessert to be served while watching the fireworks - sort of like the Fantasmic dessert buffet? Thanks!

The VIP tour does not give you behind the scenes tours. You wait in lines just like everyone else, but the tour guide waits with you. You can arrange seating on the train station platform for fireworks and parades. They occasionally will do standing area for Fantasmic! near one of the lights. Its roped off. No to the meal idea.

Also, the tours are extremely limited. You need to call as soon as available and schedule it. If it is a time like CHristmas, there are usually no spots available and you will be able to go on the waiting list.

We just took the VIP tour yesterday. Availabilty varies. I booked about 10 days in advance, not a problem at all. They dont do behind the scenes. As a matter of fact, our guide said she is also a walk in walts guide, so we asked if we could see club 33 lobby and she said no.

Things she did do: We rode Soarin, front and center. We went right after opening, so there wasnt much waiting. But, she did open the queue so we could just walk straight in rather then back and forth. She got us bumped to the front to see characters: Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, Woody, some characters from the Robinsons and the Incredibles. We got to be the first seated for Turtle talk, we went in through the exit. She took our tickets and got us fast passes for various rides. When we hopped parks she took us in the exits so we didnt have to wait in line. She said she could get us to the front of the line for a dole whip, but we wanted lunch first and our time with her was over. When we wanted frozen lemonade she went and got us for it. She got my daughter picked for Jedi training. We had reserved seats for parade of dreams, fireworks, Aladdin (not reserved but priority seating with out the priority pass), block party and ELP. The seating was spread out over 2 days. She also offered to make dinning arrangements for us, but we didnt need any. Oh, and we rode the Lilly Bell 1 1/2 times around the park.

Wow, that's a lot. That's all very cool. Sounds to me like it was well worth it.

Thats too bad about Club 33, thats what we loved when we did it. Availability is really dependant on the season. At Christmas its impossible, due to keeping all the tour guides available for VIPs that may be visiting the park. Summer is similar also, though it is slightly easier.
