FYI: the light sabers they use are just the Hasbro light sabers you can buy anywhere that sells them. They're not branded for Disney or anything (at least none that I saw.)

The certificates, however, are NOT for sale :~D

I don't remember seeing any Jedi merchandise in WoD when I was there yesterday. We had already bought a t shirt from the Star Trader shop, so I wasn't really looking... but I did just about look at everything in the store much to the chagrin of my dh :) My son did find a Star Tours toy in WoD though.

I did not see Jedi stuff at the WOD either. The definitely have stuff at the small shop by the show though. I agree, the lightsabers are the ones that you get at Walmart, except I have to say they did have a couple different ones that we have not seen before. My son had everyone on the market around here and happen to find one that had a different handle on it.

Thanks everybody! Looks like I'll have to make a quick trip to the park. Ahh, too bad (ha ha)

I wish they made those Storm Trooper mask and crossbones T in youth sizes.

Adriennek, you crack me up about the certificates! Already have those, just trying to get a couple of T's or sweatshirts for some upcoming birthdays.

az snow, Star Trader thanks for remembering the name.

Thanks again!

Horses die slow, painful deaths around these parts... ;)

For anyone looking for the light sabers, we got them online last fall so if you don't see the styles you're looking for at stores, try the internet. I believe that ours came directly from the Hasbro website. I don't know if they still have them, though.

Good to know. My boys got the cheap, I think they were $5, ones when we were there in December, and they would LOVE the nicer ones for Easter. What stores have you seen these at, Adrienne?

We saw them at Target at Halloween. I think we saw them at the California Science Center at the gift shop associated with their Star Wars exhibit. I haven't been particularly looking for them to remember where I saw them, but I've 'seen' them all over the place. Sorry I'm not more help.

ETA: Here's the blue light saber (http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=ps_results&product_id=15903) and a green one (http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=ps_results&product_id=15904) and a red one (http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=ps_results&product_id=15897).

ETA 2: The ones your boys got in December sound like the kind they have. The advantage to these is that they collapse/telescope down. The nicer kind... don't. ;)

Thanks. I will look at Target. We live in WA state.
The ones the boys got in December, are multi colored, they telescope down inside of eachother, and are more of a rainbow color. I should take a photo.

Ah, yeah, these are all single colors. :) If nothing else, you can order them directly from those links I posted.

Not helpful for the CA folks, but at the WDW DTD toy store, there is a build your own light saber area.

That is very cool.

Thanks Adrienne, I just might do that.

Today Target had "Star Wars" light sabers for $6.99. They didn't look EXACTLY like the ones my boys have and that they have at DLR, but they actually looked a little different but just as nice if not nicer (the handles did - the swords themselves looked the same.)

Does anyone know if they sell Jedi robes at Star Traders? Our boys have light sabers already, but they're wanting the robes to wear for dramatic play/Halloween.

Man, now I want one. I used to have a lightsaber to match my Katana. Next time I go to DL that's on the shopping list.

They may but I don't think I've seen them, my cousin, Boston, would've been on them like a hound. However my little brother got me a pattern off-line so that I can make him and me one. We're such geeks.
