I would like to eat at Yamabuki on my next visit, but I don't know how to get to the PPH from DL/DTD. Is it easy to find? About how long is the walk? I am planning on making reservations and I want to know how early we should start heading over there.

The quickest way to the Paradise Pier Hotel from the parks is to cut through the Grand Californian lobby and then cross Disneyland Drive. It's probably a fifteen minute walk.

Yep, and then the door to the restaurant is just to the left of the doors to the hotel lobby when you are facing the front of the building. Yamabuki is sooooo delish!!!

I have to agree that Yamabuki is incredible. We ate there in December and the food and atmosphere are just wonderful. I'm sure we will go there again!

Do you walk through the Grand Californian from the DCA entrance? Sorry I'm very uneducated on this subject, I never knew if you could go through that entrance if you weren't staying at the hotel. And also, when we are coming back to the park can we go through the Grand Californian lobby into DCA? My first instinct would be to think that is not allowed.

That is what threw me off! Yamabuki can not be accessed from the main lobby! Like Wendi said, it is to the left of the lobby doors.

If you want the easiest directions, and follow the signage, go west thru Downtown Disney towards the Disneyland Hotel. When you get to the Large Mickey Sourcer Hat, make a left just before the Hat, going down the sidewalk next to the road.
Follow the road past the Traffic Circle and follow the signs to the west entrance to the Paradise Pier Hotel. Walk thru the hotel to the Valet Parking entrance, and make a right once you walk out the East entrance. You will see the entrance in just a few feet.
Of course, if you get lost, just ask a CM for directions....
