Wondering if anyone knows of a good Disneyland checklist for packing...or a good one for travel in general and all of your great ideas added :D

What about a list of what to take to the park with us each day?

Oh...and maybe how to get the countdown in the signature to work!!!

Here's a thread about the countdown clock:

From the looks of your countdown, you didn't follow the exact format. I'll look at your signature again and post some suggestions.

Here's a suggestion for fixing the countdown: (only replace the {} with standard brackets [] )

{countdown="October 29, 2007 3:00 PM PST;We made it!;BLUE"}Disneyland for 8 nights begins in{/countdown}

Thanks....let's see if the signature works.

Thanks also for the link to the post for forgotten items, very helpful.

Planning is slightly more thrilling than trying not to think about it, but I really just want to BE THERE :p

Take a closer look at that post. You just overlooked one little thing:

only replace the {} with standard brackets []

Extensive but good list. I cannot imagine really packing all of that. The car would be packed to the gills. Pantyhose and workout clothes made me LOL!

That would be why it is the ULTIMATE packing list. :D

What I always did for our trips, being the incredibly anal over planner that I am, I made a spreadsheet for every trip. Page one dealt with all of the hotel info and Priority Seatings, Page 2 was a complete breakdown of what everything cost, Page 3 was a list of all of the clothes each person would (everyone got their own column), and Page 4 was what and/or where we would be eating every day for every meal.
For clothes, I counted how many days we would be there and then looked at weather.com for a forecast and went from there. Like, we were there for 4 days in February and that called for warm days and pretty cool evening and my list went like this (2 adults, 2 children):
Everyone got 2 pairs of pants, whether jeans, leggings, sweats, whatev.
Everyone got 2-3 pairs of shorts or skirts or whatev.
Everyone got 4 short sleeve tees
Everyone got 2 long sleeve tees.
Everyone had a pair of gloves and hats and one thick sweatshirt for evenings.
Everyone had 2 pairs of shoes and 5 pairs of socks and 5 pairs of chonies
Everyone had at least one bathing suit.
Then, because my children ALWAYS seemed to be sick at DL during the year of our APs (LOL), I brought along almost all of their medicine.
Cough and Cold
Cold and Allergy
Childrens Nyquil
Childrens Pepto pills
Childrens Nausea medicine (we never go out of town w/o this after a memorable evening of Sizzler in Pismo!)
Chapstick
Sunblock
Childrens tylenol chewables
Childrens anti-diarrhea (sp. check! LOL)
Basically, if you don't want to have to leave your hotel at 3 am to look for a Walgreens, LOL, bring it.
Then for snacks, I would bring indiv. applesauces, trail mix, granola bars, those Smuckers Uncrustables and maybe a few bananas and a case of bottled water.
Hope some of that helps!!

I'd love to look at that, but no program I have will open it. Any suggestions?

Well that would explain it. I don't have MS Word. The closest thing I have is MS WordProcessor. I'll try that....

Okay, that worked! :D
