The AP nights special rates have just become available. They're only offering the special discount until 2/14 but if you're interested, they've finally released them :)

Are there AP rates at all 3 hotels? I just went on disneyland.com and didn't see them listed under Passholder Special Offers. How much are the rates? Please give details.
Thank You!
Karen

They're not advertized on the website yet. I found out because I'v been calling everyday. (714)956-6425

Yes, it's for all three of the resort hotels.

When I called the rates were not available for a standard room at the DLH for the dates I wanted so I booked the GCH.

GL!

That's strange. I just booked our stay at the GCH for $189.00 per night instead of the usual $340.00

Maybe try again and see if you get a different CM that's more helpful?

Please share the rates that are out to this non AP holder. I am looking to upgrade when we travel there in a week and a half and I would like to know what types of offerings are out there to determine if it is worth it to me. Thanks guys! Also, how often do you guys see decent rates during a given year?
Is $200 a night a good deal?

I just called and the CM was very helpful and called to see why the AP rates weren't showing up. She told me it doesn't start until January 28th and goes for about 2 weeks. Of course that is after we leave.:crying:

Oh, now I am frustrated. That is when we are going to be there. I wish I could upgrade to an AP now..........

You don't actually have to have a current AP at the time that you make your reservation, just at check-in. You can even buy an AP at a Disney Store in you area if that's easier than worring about getting the Ap right upon your arrival.

HTH!

I can't change my package now anyway so I will just pay the rack rate for DLH and grin and bear it. I am getting an AP while I am down there so this doesn't happen on our next trip though. Live and learn.

Thanks Jen!
I just got a great rate at GCH for the night of Feb. 11. I would have taken the really great rate at PP, but I'm going to have Grandma with me and its hard for her to walk that far. The CM had to search for the AP rate, but after a couple of tries she found it.
Thanks again...

You are SO welcome! I'm glad you got a reservation, I have a feeling that there won't be many left soon...

We'll be there that same week. Have a great time!

Just out of curiosity, what is the earliest they release AP rates? Seems like it is always a last minute thing (or last 2 weeks anyway.)

I have seen them release the AP rates 3 months before, but it seems lately that they have not offered AP rates as often as in the past.

Thank you so much for posting this info! We just made our reservations for the 8 - 10th at the DL hotel. This will be my boys first time staying there (we love the PP and have stayed there 2x).

Our AP's expire Feb. 20 and we have been waiting and waiting to get one of those great deals we have heard about, and yippee we finally got one. :fez: I called a couple days ago and nothing, so thanks again for posting this! :D

I'm guessing there's no chance of mid-June AP rates for any of the Disney hotels.

I can't wait for my big plan of winning the lotto to finally come together. Ha.

Jen,

Thank you so much for sharing. I just rebooked my GCH stay next month with the $189 price. Cuts our hotel bill in half.

Although rooms are limited, they start at $129 for PP, $189 for GCH standard room, and $209 for Park view. I didn't check the DH rates. Not quite the $89 they had for DH last year but I will take it.

Does anyone know if the special AP rates apply to just standard rooms or suites as well? We are booked for a special 16th birthday weekend for my daughter and 3 of her friends, in a 2 BR suite at the DLH and got the regular AP discount, but I'm always up for getting an even better rate. Thanks.
