Who have you seen enjoying the parks. A month or two ago I saw Jason Alexander at DCA with, who I believe to be his kids. He had an Disney escort with him.

I could have sworn I saw Michael Eisner at the parks one day. It was when the "Believe" fireworks show was brand new. "He" was surrounded by a bunch of suits as i saw them walking away.

I swear it was him...?

Years ago, while walking aimlessly around MGM Studios in Orlando, I kept passing by a photo shoot. I must have passed it a good dozen times and then having nothing better to do stopped to see what was what. Disney was doing a shoot of a comedian, that at the time I had never heard of (though many around me had). The comedian was sitting taking pictures and talking to people passing by. When I finally stopped, the comedian asked me if I was lost (very embarrassing) and I replied that I wasn't sure where I wanted to go, but I knew that if I sat down I'd be too tired to get back up... so I was walking around in circles. The comedian laughed. I still had no clue who this person was, by the way. I finally left and much later learned who I had been talking to.

Who was it???

Drew Carrey (sp?)

I can't think of any celebs that I've seen at DL off the top of my head, but they were practically the norm when I worked at Universal Studios. It's a bit off topic, so I won't go into it here, but I had plenty of celeb stories and sightings from USH, including...

...why guests will believe ANYBODY is a celeb if you sell 'em on it...

...the unholy power of Mel Gibson...

...why I think that Anne Heche is evil incarnate...

...and why Jim Carrey has more freakish energy than any human being should be allowed to possess. :D

Back in the day when Animaniacs was popular I was in line for splash mountain and was stopped by a guy who claimed to do his voice for the show. He was with a drop dead gourgeous blonde and a huge muscular bodyguard looking guy. I didnt believe him until he actually did the voice. He also told us he did the voice for Braer Rabbit in the ride and also for Roger Rabbit!!!

Also spotted on main street was the dad from Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Back in the late 80's early 90's it seemed that whenever I visited DL they were filming something. I distinctly remember seeing Drew Barrymore (a child then) and John Forsythe sitting in the Teacups filming something. They had many more stars filming around the park that day and a band as well but for some reason their names and faces escape me. My friend and I were in a shot of the parade for this particular TV special. My husband, my nephew and I are also in the Disneyland Sing-a-long video. I had no idea what they were filming until I bought the video for my baby daughter 2 years later, remembered the scene and spotted us in the crowd. Of course we aren't 'stars' (yet) but I thought it would be fun to share.

Anyone else been in a Disney special or video??

I've seen Meg Ryan, Nicolas Cage, and Bill Nye (him just two weeks ago).

I've probably seen more but am generally clueless when it comes to identifying famous people in person. Just keep an eye out for the plaid vest; they're generally escorting someone famous or rich.

I was assured by the women around me that Nicolas Cage's bodyguard was very cute.

Hi -

I guess I've been in the right place at the right time. I almost ALWAYS see celebs in the park whenever I go - and I don't go that frequently.
I've been in line right in front of Mare Winningham, Director John Landis, Thaao Penghlis (a soap opera actor and was in the cast of the 1988 Mission Impossible Televison series.) and the best of all -
Mark Hamill :D . He was with his kids and was doing fine until people started asking for his autograph
(He was very kind in giving them, although I did hear him telling his wife "we've got to get out of here!")

Saw Arnold Swarzenegger at the park last year. He was on the Matterhorn during early admission with his kids.

Oh, I certainly saw my fair share of celebs while working there. There are probably more, but the ones I remember off the top of my head are:

Gloria Estefan
Paulie Shore
Bob Saget(on multiple occasions, boy he is tall!)
Jennifer Love Hewitt ;)
Tom Hanks
Val Kilmer
Arnold Swarsnegger
Pro Wrestlers:
Diesel/Kevin Nash
Mankind/Mick Foley

ODV CM, it's funny how you list Estefan, Paulie Shore, Bob Sagat, and Love Hewitt over Tom Hanks, Kilmer, and Swarzenegger! :)

Hi,
Ok it's not DLP forum but it may interest you:
On the 5th anniversary of DLP they was plenty of TV celebrity & famous singers (europeans one). The Disney Legends are unknown of Europeans audience and there are few disney fans. So the public would run to see the other regular celebrity.

BUT I DIDN'T CARE !!!!!!!!!

I am a Disney fan! So I saw Roy Disney. Shake hand with John Hench & Marty Sklar. Wave to Tom Morris...
I was in state of shock ! Anywhere I would saw a Disney Legend like them I would care only about them even if there was the US or French president, Michael Jackson or Madonna a few feet away...
It's only when i was in the train back to home, that I realized that i had NOT take a single picture or ask for an autograph.. Since then I knock my head to the walls each time I think about it. Ouch !!

My brother's third cousin twice removed's wife's father's dentist is the brother of Walt Disney's gardener's sister's cousins baker.

I never see anyone famous. My wife pointed out a soap opera star once in line at Alice and some girls asked this woman for her autograph but I had no idea who they were.

Let's see...

Not counting the people present at the DCA opening press event:

Michael Jackson, wearing a purple scarf and arm-length gloves
Bruce Springstein
Bill Nye
Fran, the Nanny
William Shatner

Geeze - now I have a mind blank. I can't remember who else!

Along with what AK Wolf was saying, we played a joke on a friend while visiting Universal Studios. We were on our way to meet him, and decided to have some fun. Rather than just walking up, we rushed up to him, waving pens and paper, and begged for autographs. I am sure there are hundreds of photos of him all over the world by now - every tourist in the vicinity stopped to take his picture.

No hollywood stars at DL (except a few pro athletes), but we saw Raymond Burr (Perry Mason) at USH during the time he was filming Ironside (for you young pups, he played a handicapped person). When people on the tram started calling to him, he asked the group if anyone had seen his wheelchair!

I forgot, I also met Mo Vaughn shortly after he signed with the Angles, and I also met the UCLA basketball team when they had Toby Baily(1998, I think). I also met Junior Seau(all-pro linebacker), and believe it or not, I'm fairly certain I saw MC Hammer as well. Oh, and some director guy who I've never heard of went up to the ballon vendor, and asked her how many balloons she had. She said she guessed around 80, and he said "I'll take them". It took almost half an hour because she has to tie weights on all of them, and then he took the balloons and began passing them out to little kids in the area. That really impressed me, although not enough to remember his name, evidently.
