I mean it could range from getting your first kiss to taking the apple from the snow white ride.

1. For me...going on POTC...getting ready to leave the dock and then being put on a 10 minute hold because people on another boat decided to jump out and run through the ride.

2. Going on HM and getting stuck in the elevator because the ride would not reset and the doors would not open.

What about you?

1. Got to see SM with the lights on once (good)

2. Getting temporarily stuck with a large group of MPers at the top of the second drop in Pirates on someone's 4th birthday (good)

3. Getting stuck for 15 minutes directly underneat the children of the corn in Small World with the same group of MPers (BAD!!)

4. On my very first ride on Indy, the ride stopped, sound tunred off, lights came on. They walked us off, but sadly when it stopped, we were on the final turn (after the boulder, but before seeing Indy again) so I didnt' get to see much. The best part, though, was that while the lights were on, and the sound had quit, the anamatronics were still working. So we walked around to corner to see Indy in front of the boulder twitching in a very distrubing, and silent, way.

1. Got stopped half-way down the Space Mountain ride. The lights came on and we got to ride the rest of the way all lit up. Got to stay in the rocket for a second ride. (obviously good)

2. Got to ride Matterhorn 3 times in a row never stepping out of the bobsled. (really good...except for the sore rear end) When we pulled up to the unloading dock after trip #1 the CM pulled our bobsled to the side so the sleds wouldn't get backed up. After he had us wait for 3-4 more sleds to pass us and unload he put us back on the track and asked us if we wanted to ride again. (What would you say?) The same thing happened after trip #2 and it was the same CM. Just before he put us back on the track he noticed it was us again and let us ride a 3rd time. :D

3. The sudden jerky stop at the end of Peter Pan almost put my wife into labor. (hmm...not so good) Couldn't they make that stop a little smoother?

One of my favorite stories for this category:

On a busy summer day my brother and I were taking a raft over to TSI. They had all the rafts going so our driver thought it would be better to take us to the dock on the north side (next to where the mill stands today). As we were coming around the front of the island, a keel boat at full speed made a b-line for our raft. Our raft driver screamed to everyone to brace themselves and then the keel boat hit. At that same moment it appeared the keel boat pilot noticed us and killed the engine. No one was hurt that I noticed and my brother and I went on to the island and had fun. I was only 12 at the time. Had that happened nowadays who knows what my reaction would have been.

1. During one of my few forays on Mulholland Madness, I got stuck at the very top of the ride and have to be evacuated down the rickety staircase. It was all good, though, because I got an end-of-line pass out of it. :)

2. On Soarin', there was a hot chick who was going Single Rider just like me. I got to sit next to her. That's it.

3. Twice now, I've gotten halfway down the final boarding ramp for Space Mountain, and the lights have come on and we've had to evacuate, without any sort of end-of-line compensation. Same thing with Screamin'. I was the very next person who would have boarded and they shut the thing down.

4. The very first attraction I ever got evacuated from was HISTA. After only a few minutes of the film playing, the sound and screen shut off, lights started flashing on the sides of the theaters and an automated voice told everyone to evacuate due to an emergency. Of course, 10 minutes later it was up again, so I don't think anything bad reallly happened.

Many many moons ago, my parents, brother and I were on the People Mover when it stopped. We had to get out and walk the track platform. It was a little frightening...I kept telling myself DON"T FALL OFF. Looks like we made it.

Now I can't remember if it was in FL or CA. Oh well.

Yes it was in the park. On Tom Sawyers Island. It was the only day my parents saw eachother in six weeks so we know for sure that is where. So that I guess is where I got my undying love for the place. :D

I was at DL during a DARE night where there were NO crowds. I was able to ride the Rocket Jets 17 times in a row without getting off. I had no idea at the time that that would be the last time I got to ride this wonderful ride.:crying:

1) I went on Splash over and over with no line...Still can't figure out why there was no one there, it wasn't cold...

2) Someone dropped something on the Matterhorn and they let us go again without waiting in line...and it was a long line that day...

3) Last night they let my husband and I ride by ourselves on the Wheel :)
BUT....We didn't even get to go around once!:( Why does't it go around all the way a couple of times???

This summer I headed right for Toontown as soon as the park opened. Since no one was there, I got to go on the roller coaster five times in a row without getting off.

I got to ride the HM elevator down and then back up. It was cool!

little brother/niece/nephews and my little one got evacuated off of Splash...luckily right after the drop and not just before it :)

One time back in high school my friend an I were roaming around the park - just the two of us. This guy came up and asked us for directions. We helped him and them went on our way. For the next three rides, we noticed that he was always a few people behind us in line, so we got a little freaked out.

Finally, we ran out of the exit to Alice and, thinking we'd gotten away fast enough, jumped in line for Matterhorn. We got all the way up to the loading area before we noticed him standing be Alice in Wonderland (directly across from the Matterhorn exit on that side). Scary.

After the ride, we noticed him still standing there, and we did not want to exit that close to him. We told a cast member what was happening, and asked if we could exit out of the other matterhorn exit (by what use to be Fantasyland Autopia) Not only did he walk us to the otherside, he put us on the ride again on the otherside to give us more time while he called security. Our minds were eased wamd we got a free ride (which was really nice since we were pretty worried and didn't really get to enjoy the first one.

:) There was no explaination really but a CM let us ride Space Mountain twice. When it was time to unload, we just passed everyone and went on again. It was a cool experience. Not so cool for my friend, Emily, who did not want to go again. Ha ha.

:)I also rode Space once with the lights on. It was cool, but odd.

:(I got stuck at the tip top of the last drop on Splash with a few first-timers. They escorted everyone off the ride- no explainations... No exit pass, nothin'.

:(Sat in the HM graveyard w/o the sound for ten minutes. All you heard was hydrolic hissing and clacking animatronics.

:(Sat through Fantasmic and they stopped the show as Maleficent hit her peak growth. The CM disappeared and all we saw was her dress standing there by itself. Everything stayed like that for about fifteen minutes and then they made an announcement about high winds.

:P Saw Fantasmic without the dragon. Mickey blasted Maleficent in her witch form. It was very anti-climactic. She set the lake on fire with her wand. Instead of dragon noises, she laughed and laughed... I think. It was a long time ago.

:D And, of course, as I posted before a friend saw Belle in her birthday suit at the Fantasyland Theater Backstage Area.

Awwww. Poor guy. It was probably all just some crazy "coincidence" that he kept popping up in the same places as you and then you went and sicced security on him… :( It's not illegal to follow chicks around Disneyland, is it? Er, um.... never mind.

Seems to be a lot of folks that enjoy getting to see a ride with its lights on, so I'll add mine. On Alice, as we were winding up the green path with flowers on all sides, the ride stopped and we sat there for about 10 minutes with lights up. Then a cast member escorted us down the green path, past Tweedle Dum & Dee, and out a side door. Way too much fun!

My best park memory happened in Epcot, on the evening of my 40th birthday, at the entryway to the Centorium shop. Pluto was entertaining a group of guests, and I got into a conversation with his handler, mentioning in passing that it had been a great birthday for me. Next thing I know, Pluto is taking my hand and leading me to stand up on a bench, where he then (with the help of his handler) leads a crowd of about 20 strangers in a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday. Just a totally magical end to a great day!!!

:D I probably wouldn't care now, but I was fourteen then (and a young looking 14), and the guy was much older than us, and he was by himself. The whole situation was a little too scary, and had been going on for over an hour. Also, I didn't was the guy to call security, I just explained that we thought we were being followed and the cast member said he would call security.

I wouldn't care now...especially if it were you Uncle Dick...
