Would some of you you are frequent HoJo guests tell me about your favorite rooms?

I plan travel for lots of friends and always send them to the HoJo. I normally request Bldg 2, balcony overlooking the quiet pool. But I'm wondering if others have specific room numbers that are their favorites? I'd love to hear why you like your specific room, as well.

Thanks so much! :)

Oh, come on, Andrew, you aren't gonna give me more info than that? Purty please?

Have you ever been in 1701? It's like Xanadu (http://etext.virginia.edu/stc/Coleridge/poems/Kubla_Khan.html).

My most recent stay in Building 2 was definitely better than my stay in Building 5. Much quieter and no arched windows without curtains.

Did you notice a musty smell in building 5? i can never tell if it's the building, the plants or just California in general. But I do know my allergies were acting up, so i just assumed it was a mold/mildew issue.
Still love HoJo though!

Are the rooms themed at HoJo? Like a under water themed room or jungle. I have never been there and that might explain why everyone seems to love it so much. I would stay there for that.

No theme. The pool area is fun and the staff is nice but the rooms have no theme and are clean.

i'm staying there right now. Rooms are clean . Staff is good. but the highway noise is non stop . We are on floor 6 facing the park. Good View of the fireworks but if i come next time it may not be here because of the noise.:(

You must be in Bldg. 1. Anything above the "noise barrier wall" in building 1 is horrible for freeway noise. If you get a room closer to the elevator and below the 6th floor, the noise isn't an issue.

However, as far as freeway noise goes, Bldg. 2 closest to the pool, is my favorite. I don't ever hear freeway traffic there.

Hey Shari. So, that's building 2, 3rd floor? Is it an office room? Details people, details!!! :D :p

Exactly! It's a corner home office room which is extra big, with a big bathroom. It does not have a balcony, but does overlook the back pool. if you look at the room layouts on www.hojoanaheim.com it is NBQ2.

We have been staying in the same room at HoJo's for the past 3+ years. I won't give out our room number, don't think it is really better than any others in the building. But we love building 2, ground floor.
