On Thanksgiving the wait times for all the E Ticket rides was 45min to 1 hour, the park seemed to get less crowded as the day progressed. Friday night the park was busy, but since SO Cal Annual Passes were blocked out, it was not terribly crowded, DCA was like a ghost town. Because today is a day that SO Cal A/P's can come, at 10:30am today there was a huge line of cars waiting to enter the Mickey and Friends parking structure. My advice as always, is when people are trying to avoid crowds, do not visit Disneyland when the So. Cal A/P can go on weekends or after holidays. The majority of Disneyland visitors now are So. Cal A/P holders. You can check block out dates for the So Cal A/P on Disneyland.com, under the annual pass section.

Our family of 24 just returned from a 6 day trip starting the 20th and returning the 25th. Park was more crowded Thursday afternoon and Friday but with the use of fastpass, it was not too bad. Pirates on Thurs and Friday had huge lines (too bad fast pass isn't in use there). Weather was great, crowds were bigger than I would have liked but it was Thanksgiving time, but it was the only time all of us could go. We still had a great time, kids would like to move there.

Have a great trip!

We were there the 19, 20, and 21. Oddly, Sunday and Tuesday were rather light days and Monday was quite crowded. The waits were not long, and the shows were great. The only drawback we saw was that everything was decorated for Christmas and it as 90' all three days. I guess if that's the worst we can say then it was a great trip.

I was at Disneyland tonight, arriving at 6pm, as I predicted, the park was very crowded this afternoon and the parking structure was nearly full when I arrived. After the Christmas Fantasy Parade ended at 7pm, many people left the park, and all E ticket ride wait times were between 30 and 45 min. There was a good crowd of people watching the fireworks tonight, but the crowd did not get out of hand. When I was leaving the park at 11pm, a fight occured between two families at the Mickey and Friends Tram Boarding stop. I did witness a woman slapping another woman upside her head while boarding the tram, she accused the family of cutting in line in front of her. The two women had slapped each other when attempting to board the trram with strollers. DLR security had seperated the families and Anaheim Police were called to escort them off the property. I talked to the DLR security officer about what I saw, he said lots of fights happen on So. Cal. A/P days, that their had been several fights earlier today.

If you're traveling with a little girl, plan on spending a lot of time with the Princess Fantasy Faire. Have lots of memory space in your camera. If your daughter is afraid of the characters, like mine, it's a great way to get interaction since the "faced" characters are not scary to small children. Get to the Faire before it opens. We went their right at 10 a.m. (the area's opening) and still waited about 50 minutes to have pictures taken with Mulan and Aurora.
While waiting for the show to start - every hour on the hour - they have coloring and crafts for the wee ones. One of the cast members dressed as a lady in waiting colored a picture for my daughter. It made her day.
However, boys may not have as good a time with this.
If you have young children of either gender, hit fantasy land when the park opens and head straight for Dumbo. This will save you at least a 45 minute wait. Then head imediatly to Peter Pan. This always has long lines.
