Tonight after the Park closes there will be a test firing of the Holiday Fireworks show at 9:25 approx PST. Tonight's show will also be streamed at http://www.mycampage.com/dlfireworks. This is a test of a new web cam located in a neighborhood right behind the launch site off of Ball Rd. :D

I remember the day before they had the first 50th anniversary firework show, when they did a run. It was late at night and the hub was cleared of guest and it was my family and about 30 other people watching the show. So cool!!!

I'm waiting for the show to begin.... and procrastinating. I have been doing homework for almost a quarter of a decade.. when do I get a break? (Yes, I am in a mopey mood... these fireworks need to hurry up so I can get out of my funk.)

Heard from a few buddies in Tech Services that the pyro guys have run into some big problems after Wednesday nights test show of Believe In Holiday Magic.

The planned "soft opening" of the new Believe show scheduled for tonight, Thursday, was scrapped this morning. And as of Thursday evening it is looking doubtful that they'll be able to do the show on Friday night, even though it's in the guidemaps and been on the official calendar for a few months. No word on the Saturday show.

Just a heads up if you were planning on going to Disneyland tomorrow to see the first night of Believe In Holiday Magic. You might not want to be at Disneyland anyway because it's supposed to be very, very busy. Management was telling us the estimates for both Friday and Saturday are at 65,000 for Disneyland and they fully expect to have to close the turnstiles for a period of time on both days.

You've been warned.
