We were staying at the Grand Californian over the weekend and so was Sylvester Stallone. Mingled among the people just like any other person.

That's pretty cool! And he was there on a weekend, not an off day. Extra cool. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to hear others stories...

I saw Diane Keaton at the park a couple years ago. She was fairly wrapped up in scarves and big dark sunglasses (very "avoid the paporazzi") pushing a stroller. She was kinda given away by two cast members following her around making sure the crowds didn't bother her. From what I saw, people noticed but didn't really care that it was someone famous. I guess the Woody Allen crowd doesn't really mix with the Disneyland crowd.

I saw Corey Feldman in the park once. He was sweeping up after the parade.

I always see stars at the park, especially at night in the sky and while riding Space Mountain...:p

Heh. Man, that's harsh. :D

Harsh would be Stephen Baldwin directing traffic in Mickey and Friends on a Saturday. :D

I saw Lance Bass being dropped off at the GCH in March of 2003 as we were catching our bus to the airport home. I quickly alerted the closest pre-teen girl I could find and she got all giddy and shouted "LANCE!". He looked over, waved, and I got a picture. This of course was before his big announcement...

Oh I so wish I would have seen Sylvester this weekend. Now THAT would be cool! My husband is a big fan and he always thought he looked like Sylvester. (wanna-be??)

I think it was two years ago, my husband went without getting his hair cut (pet peeve of mine, I can't stand long hair/unshaven men, yuck!) anyway, my husband apparently looks a bit like the guy in Prancer. This little kid looks at my husband, then announces to the whole bus "It's Prancer's Dad!".

I am not too much a people watcher, I bet Sylvester could sit next to me and I would chat it up with him and not even know who he was. But I did enjoy watching this young couple on Friday, I have no clue why, but they were not getting along, and the young girl wouldn't even look at her beloved. He tried time and time again to find forgiveness from her, rubbing her back, hugging her, trying to kiss her. She would have none of it. She would just look away every time. She was playing "hard to get" a little to hard. ;)

I told my husband he should go tell the young man that he should just give up trying and go have fun without her. LOL!!

I saw the two female stars from Clueless. Alicia Silverstone and .... oh what is the other ones name. She was in the movie and TV series. She played the best friend. They weren't even together. I saw "the bestfriend" walking with a stroller and a daughter on a "leash" going into the Castle as I was coming out. She was very pretty in person. And definitely drew attention. Her outfit was so sparkly. She had on a broomstick skirt that had shimmery silver trim, and a fancy tank top. We were headed over to AdventureLand, and I was running up to tell DH who I saw. Just as we hit the Dole Whip stand Alicia Silverstone and a boyfriend came towards us. She had on huge sunglasses. She is much shorter than I expected. She was a bit more incognito than her friend but still looked good enough to draw attention. I am one of those people that looks everyone in the eye as they walk by. I figure maybe I'll see someone I know, I guess. I was pretty excited, as I get starstruck very easy.

Actually Whittibo we were sitting outside Storyteller's waiting for breakfast when my husband said "hey Silvester Stallone just walked out of the restaurant with his wife and kids" I of course rolled my eyes and told him I didn't believe him for one minute! He told me to walk toward the lobby and he would prove it to me. Sure enough there he was in Acorn's buying pins for his girls. His wife is beautiful! He is pretty short though!

It must be kind of awkward being a celebrity. They sign up for it and are well rewarded so I don't really have any sympathy, but still... My son used to take karate with Sean Penn's son. I didn't see Sean all that much, sometimes, but mostly it was his wife, Robin Wright who would be there dropping him off and picking him up (never a nanny, interestingly enough). Anyway, you wait in the lobby while the kids are in there doing their thing and usually you strike up a conversation. I was there often with Robin and it was really awkward. If she wasn't a celebrity I would start chatting, but I felt like if I said anything she would think I was just trying to talk to her because she is a celebrity. So I never said anything and just sat there in this awkward silence. To make it even worse, I had no idea she was a celebrity or who she was until one day my wife pointed it out. I don't remember if I ever talked to her before, but my guess is that I had. So here I was probably friendly with her and then suddenly stopped talking to her. It was really uncomfortable, but for me it only happened for a few minutes a couple times a week. For her it is her life -- of course maybe it wasn't uncomfortable for her, who knows.

Cool stories. I have never seen any at all during our trips. Though, I probably wouldn't know it if I did!

I saw Joe Montana and family back in 1989. It was just after the 49ers had won the Super Bowl, he had VIP escort of course.

I saw the actress who plays Izzy Stevens on Grey's Anatomy recently. She was with her husband, kid, and escort.

A few years ago I saw the Big Cheese Mr. Eisner himself walking into the GCH with his entourage. We were drying in the sun by GRR and I saw a large group of suits hovering around one normal-dressed guy in a baseball cap. I caught a glimpse of his face and it shocked me to realize it was Mr. Chairman and CEO himself in our lowly little CA park. It didn't look like anyone else noticed, though. Maybe they didn't recognize him.

Psh. Amateurs. ;)

Snappy when do you see stars in the night sky? I have been looking for the stars in the sky and I have seen the moon that is not very bright and one star. We have been looking and not seeing much in the way of stars.

I saw Michael Jackson back in the late '80's while waiting in line for Mr. Toad's Wild Ride in Fantasyland. This was back when I was a teenager and he was all the rage. He was very tall and skinny and was wearing a cap and dark sunglasses. What I remember was his longish curly/wet-look hair and thinking, Oh geez! Everyone is going to start wearing their hair like Michael Jackson now! I didn't realize that it was him until people started running up to him to try to get autographs and pictures. He signed a few and took a few photos and then hurriedly moved on before he drew a big crowd. He had two guys with him (presumably bodyguards) who kind of whisked him through the ensuing crowd quickly. I remember that it happened very fast and I was kind of stunned. I was frustrated that I didn't get to tell my mom as I saw him because she really liked him! She was off somewhere else while me and my sister were waiting in line. I think that I was most struck by his height.

Oooh! I met Travis Barker at Disneyland! My boyfriend and I were celebrating our two year anniversary and we were wating in the exit in the wheel chair line to get on to PotC and I saw him and his now ex-wife walk in with like two CM's and I totally flipped! In a choked voice I reached up and accidently pinched my b/f's "manly tata" and said "DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS?!" Yup, I had a star struck moment lmao. Luckily enough we were still waiting when he got off the ride and we got a picture with him. That made our anniversary ten times cooler!!! :D

A quick IMDB search shows he's a former member of Blink-182. (They've broken up, haven't they?)
