Has anyone found any good fares on the airlines to SNA? We are going Dec. 13-20 out of PDX. So far most fares are near $300 pp. I was hoping for $200 or low $200's. Otherwise we are looking at a 17 hour drive. Any help or info would be appreciated!

Have you tried Kayak.com? It will search multiple sites including the wholesale sites and the airlines sites. I have had great luck getting the best airfare using that site. There may be one or two airlines not included so know which ones go in and out of your airport and double check those too.

You can fly United into LAX for $197. Try http://www.cheaptickets.com/App/Home?z=9332&r=6g

You might also want to look at JetBlue (my favorite airline) flying into Long Beach.

Scratch that - I looked em up, and it looks like there is no connecting flight from PDX. Darn, I just wish AA or United would go under so Jet Blue could get more routes!

You might consider driving up to Seattle. You can get those dates on United for $203 in to SNA or if you do the 12-19 you can fly on Alaska in to Long Beach for $203. Rates are on travelocity. If you really want to fly out of PDX, you might try changing dates. I think the 11-18 you could fly Alaska for about $233.

If you check on www.sidestep.com it shows flights on Delta for $239.
