Oh, I'm so glad you mentioned this. I was just thinking about how much fun I had with my mom and sister, eating our way through DD...:D

This is a great event for annual passholders. Patina Group manages three restaurants in Downtown Disney- Catal, Tortilla Jo's and Naples. They host a special AP holder night where they provide food and drink to AP's and their guests for $10 per person. They are held in May and November. MousePad is one of the ways they spread the word.

All my friends asked when we can all drink all the margaritas we want on $10 again. We should be hearing something soon (hopefully)!

I just read where ownership of Patina Group was changing. I don't know if this will influence the decision to hold another AP event or not, but by this time last year the information was out for the November event.

Wait, how come I didn't know about this? And why are they providing food for $10 a person? Can someone explain more please?

Well, guess you didn't see it posted before. As to why, could be that the Patina Group is just really cool and loves AP'ers. Or maybe they see an opportunity to put out the welcome mat to their restaurants during relatively slow periods to market them to people who frequent those parks right next door in hopes of establishing some regulars. Either way it's a fantastic deal for AP'ers and I hope they continue it. (And let us know soon.)

I wrote the following in another thread
http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=61951
"well, the quality may improve - but I wonder if the AP nights will continue. That kind of a program is more of a marketing partnership and a loss leader - and I would think that a chef would demand people who appreciate (and would pay full price) for their food."
