Hey there... I know that the HSM Pep Rally show at DCA began on Friday. Have any of you seen it yet? What are your thoughts?

I have photos in my Friday, October 7th album (see link below).

Personally, another good show for kids, pre-teens and some younger teens who can relate to the movie. It is good for kids due to the interaction with the show for kids.

But for adults, most will not be interested, similar to BPB.

I am in no rush to see it again.

I saw them today during the CHOC Walk and it looked pretty cheesy and fake but I am sure the younger kids will like it. They could have at least given them microphones (head sets) to make it look more authentic. Everyone around me was saying, "What is that?"

Three times a day, 11:30 AM, 1 PM and 3:30 PM.

There are two stops, the first is basically front and center at Sunshine Plaza.

The second is in front of the Golden State Amphitheater.

Not sure if it is 5 days a week, or 7.

Based on the current Times Guide, it will ONLY be offered on weekends (Friday thru Sunday) and other peak periods (such as when the park is open after 6 PM).

There are no showings the next three days....

I'm anxiously waiting to see if the HM Pep Rally is going to be on the schedule in November. I hoping for Friday November 3rd, since I know my kids would love it!

The actual "stop" is about 12 minutes in length.

Pre-teens will love it. It seemed to draw a pretty big crowd. It annoyed the heck outta me.

The best place is the second location, near the exit to Golden Dreams.

The 1:15 PM today (Sunday) show at the Golden Dreams area was lightly attended, only about 2 to 3 deep around the stage.

We were there on Friday. My eight year old (who likes the movie as did I) was bored after 6 minutes. Very much a let down compared to Block Party Bash.

We saw it on Saturday. I thought is was pretty cute and my boys enjoyed it. It has audience interaction so it kept their attention. We watched it in front of Golden dreams and thought it was a great place to watch it from. We showed up about 10 minutes before it started and there was almost nobody there. After it started a much bigger crowd gathered.

I've seen a complete video of it. It's hard to tell from a video maybe, but I thought it lacked the energy I expected it to have. The kids in the performance almost seemed bored. I thought Block Party was much more energetic.

Our whole family loves HSM, and we all agreed this looks really dumb.

We saw it twice yesterday from the Golden Dreams stop (don't ask.;) ) We thought it was pretty good, though only two of the performers were miked and the rest just lip-synched to the soundtrack. The guy who sings Troy's part is very, very good, and the dancers seemed energetic from our vantage point. They sang all the hits from the movie. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it again, but it was entertaining at the time.
